  1. Can't see it being below 38, personally I think there is an argument for an increase.
  2. Sorry I don't share your faith in Sam, to be quite honest he has frustrated the hell out of me and lots of other people. He has been given a fair crack of the whip by the promotion and I just can't see him back.
  3. If the 2 point riders are to be retained I'm not sure there are 6 or 7 riders in the NDL ready to step up.
  4. Approx 75% of riders have increased their starting averages.
  5. Might prove difficult to work around this with most team averages rising some substantially. Top 4 averages currently Poole 46.49, Oxford 43.30, Scunny 43.83 and Worky 42.25.
  6. Scunny current team average is 43.83 so there will be team changes. Luke's current average is 4.43 .
  7. Good bit of a business that, he aptly demonstrated his potential at Worky and has progressed really well and will do so again next season of that i've no doubt.
  8. Not going to be easy putting a team together for next season, no Pickering and and if rumours are right no Brennan or Ben Cook definitely dilutes the No1/heat leader pool. Who is gonna step up and fill these guys steel shoe because all 3 are racers ?. Being a weekend track provides an extra complication and reduces the rider pool further for the Comets with Poland in the mix although Poole appeared to work around their weekend away fixtures well this season with Brennan and Cook riding in Poland. We don't know what the points limit is going to be although this may be influenced by teams who may already have their teams largely sorted ?. This is obviously going to be important with only Glasgow surprisingly below this seasons 38 point team building average. Tate is the only certainty for 2025 with Antti apparently having aspirations in Poland and uncertain of a return to British Speedway. It's fair to say Sam McGurk won't be back but there are options here. I could easily see Max James progress further next season. Riders I can see making further progress next season include Dan and Joe Thomson , Jordan Jenkins, Ashton Boughen, Luke Harrison, Vinnie Ford, and James Pearson they would all go well around Northside. Gonna be interesting to see whether the Comets spread the net in recruiting for 2025 it certainly paid off with Tate and Antti.
  9. Countryfile weather for the week showed possible rain Friday in the south, but that's a long way off.
  10. Watching Connor the season before he never looked anything other than confident . Obviously the pressure of his poor form this season must have affected him mentally until it became too much. I would love to see him return but only if he is happier doing so.
  11. The NDL is vitally important in my view. Last season Worky were apparently led to believe there would be no NDL so were more or less forced to go Championship only to then find a weaker NDL remained. It was good to hear Oxford confirm there committment to the NDL on wednesday although more teams are definitely required along with initiatives to get more youngsters into the sport at lower cost.
  12. It will be a shame if Antti doesn't return beause I would expect him to increase his away average next season now he knows what the tracks are all about, maybe with the exception of Berwick which seemed to phase him big style. He has appeared to be nothing other than professional so much so that I can't remember him having a mechanical failure in Comets kevlars. Much may depend on what if anything happens for him in Poland. Looking in from the outside I would say he has been very well looked after by the Worky promotion. 👍👌
  13. I don't know Connor well enough to be comfortable with doing that on social media. Information on here isn't verified so no I don't expect it to be 100% accurate even though i'm sure a lot of is. It is after all a forum where views and ideas can be exchanged among like minded people having speedway in common. 👍
  14. I wonder if Connor has been back on a bike since his departure, probably not if he has sold his equipment. Doesn't seem like the actions of a young man who believes he wants a future in the sport although I would like to be wrong .
  15. Haven't watched from there yet but I bet you get a good view of the riders coming off turn 4.
  16. 1. 56.1 2. 57.7 3. 56.2. 4. 57.0 5. 56.6 6. 56.2. 7. 56.3 8. 57.5. 9. 56.8. 10. 56.5. 11. 57.4. 12. 57.0. 13. 56.9 14. 57.8. 15. 57.7 Heat 12 time was missing in my program Rob but managed to get it from a friend.
  17. Thank you Weeyin for those kind words, it has been great to be back. Not sure about any Worky fans disliking you guys, for me personally the Tiggers Fans, Club and Track are top notch and an exemplar for eveyone else to follow. See you next season 👌👍
  18. You auditioning to be the new Mystic Meg 🤣
  19. Might be the new Beach Boys number 😃
  20. Sure you will dip into that off shore account of yours and make a hefty donation if the events are finance related 🤣👍👌
  21. It also allows a fancied rider to have a bit of bad luck and still have a chance of winning which is pro for this format
  22. Enjoyable meeting lots of good races but little excuse for the track being so dry. Moisture was only skin deep so there was heavy dust from the get go , we had to move from the back straight the dust was that bad. Well done Josh Pickering for making that outside line work in the final to beat a very fast Ben Cook. Big well done to Antti Vuolas, whom I didn't expect too much from today but he performed admirably to make the final.
  23. Agree. Fans don't turn out like they used to either not convinced BSN is a good thing at such meetings. Wonder how Speedway will have gained financially from the streams paid for today and how many fans didn't bother going because it was streamed ?
  24. Now the first and may I say mostly very enjoyable first season back in the Championship is over I believe it would be a very good idea for the club to generate a supporter feeback form on their social media were fans can feedback on what they think the club is doing well and what they wish to see improved.
  25. Absolutely. It happens every year now riders pulling out for no real reason. Time the governing body tightened up on this. This was always a big prestigous meeting with a new bike for the winner. Alot of riders appear to care little for fans or promotions these days and are playing a big part in the fragile financial viablility of British Speedway with less than healthy crowd levels at most tracks.
