  1. Yeah, Batch put in a big performance at Redcar in the meeting Cookie went missing to give us a shot at the bonus which we couldn't quite achieve as it subsequently turned out. Then followed that up with another big performance at Berwick in the win that really cemented the playoffs 👍
  2. I believe he has signed for Opole Diamonds85 and cited this as a reason for him not being back at Glasgow in 25.
  3. Gotta be very careful what you post or say these days lol.
  4. Pure speculation as we do not know the team
  5. Would like to know what team you are hearing Midget. Disaster is a strong word.
  6. I was at Redcar that night along with many other Comets fans. We were only given a facility to use Rider Replacement because of the goodwill of the referee. It seemed that the club only found out Craig wasn't coming about an hour before tapes up having reportedly been informed by Dayle Wood. The travelling fans were not happy. It just seemed very unprofessional.
  7. These do not sound like the words of someone who is a true supporter. Before going into print with baseless personal opinions may I respectfully remind you that such rubbish could affect the club in a negative way. Don't forget that Andrew and Steve offered Craig a team place last season when no other club would and in doing so also led the way to a Premiership position and have put him in a very favourable position for getting a team position in both leagues next season. There will be reasons why Craig isn't back and although a loss speedway goes on and i'm sure the team put together will be competetive. UTC !
  8. Hope not, a draw should mean a draw end of.
  9. Never a bad thing if a local MP wants to come spectate and better still becomes a fan as a result.
  10. Yeah, bit surprised that the Riders Championship has been scheduled so early. Wonder if this is going to be an early season event for the next 3 years ? 2025 form would then influence picks for 2026. The BSN was allowed to drag on in 24, wonder if more urgency will be applied in 25 to get the latter stages completed sooner.
  11. Got to agree BSN have brought more entertaining and wider coverage to the Championship. However, fans do not know what individual clubs have received in financial reward from BSN. More fixtures for BSN to televise should result in a bigger pot of money to be divided out to the Clubs should it not. However potential impact of supporters watching meetings at home for £11-99 or much less instead of attending away or home fixtures has yet to be fully ascertained imo.
  12. It's not about peeing anyone off, Poole were insulated from the lack of fixtures experienced by some clubs last season. Looks like you are going to get another couple of fixtures minimum next season being included in the Premiership KO Cup. The Premiership don't have a BSN Series wonder if that p!$$e$ them off. You never said anything about the idea of having a North and South BSN section. Sure the BSPA could have worked round 9 teams like they have with the Premiership KO Cup. BSN could always sponsor the Championship KO Cup.
  13. Some sensible decisions like having the Pairs and PLRC early season over same weekend weather permitting of course. Would have rather seen either dropping the BSN and having 2H/2A or just a North and South league. Still an issue of potentially too few fixtures for some teams. Like the 40 point limit .
  14. Highly likely Craig will be back at Leicester next season so I wouldn't be surprised .
  15. I'm a fan of Jordan Jenkins and think he would be a really good signing. Would love to see him and Dan Thompson in the team. Slater Lightcap at 2 is a big ask, too big in my opinion. If he was coming in at reserve then that is an easier proposition . The jury is out with me on Dan Gilkes, he has shown flashes and performed pretty well guesting for Oxford in the playoffs. Would suggest if he isn't back with the Bears then Oxford are a more likely destination than the Comets. Appeared inconsistent for the Bears last season. Personally can't see Connor Bailey making a comeback next season. Ben Trigger has a bit of potential, quite like him but there are sizeable question marks over whether he has the potential to put a point or two on his average next season. I think the Comets will want two strong reserves after suffering in this delartment for most of last season. May also look to build further on their asset base where after the success of Tate and Antti last season.
  16. The 2025 team has to excite at least on paper. In my opinion this team just doesn't cut it.
  17. I'm not sure the Championship will continue with the 2 pointers simply because not enough NDL riders who would qualify appear to have the ability at present.
  18. If he is riding in Poland then logistically it is highly unlikely Antti will be wearing the big C next season which would be shame. At least he is a Comets asset.
  19. Must watch this on catch up. I remember Greg Mackie from the old Northside training track, shocking way to have your life taken away at the tender age of 18.
  20. Troy gets a bad press but twice this season at the 'meet the riders' and again last night he has spoken with humour and intelligence. He appears to be very personable and happy in his own skin. Done himself and Worky proud last season and fully deserves the fans vote as Rider of the Season.
  21. What a man !👌 he was just saying on the live feed last night before setting off for the meeting that he was going to take it easy as he has only had one small practice 😃👍
  22. Does appear to go well for Glasgow, definitely rides Ashfield way better than Northside which is a little hard to explain as both are good race tracks. Claus turned in some big away performances for Worky, Berwick twice, Plymouth and Redcar come to mind.
