Bowes quite a bit older too.
-
Think he done alright for the Comets last season.Scored decent points at home but less impressive away for a rider of his experience in the Championship. Bit unlucky with some nasty looking crashes but showed toughness as he was never missing for long periods with injury.
-
Believe you are correct.
-
His 8.20 average would actually be 7.99 if his 0.25 % reduction was rounded up from the calculated 0.205.

Riding in the Amateur meeting advertised ?
-
Fredriksen rode pretty well at Worky.
-
It is not maintaining professional attitude to his clubs that lets him down not his ability on the bike.
-
For how long ?

Big signing for the Pirates, comes good when it matters most..
-
Thought he signed when he turned 15 so it won't be a surprise when announced.
-
I wasn't happy at the time after witnessing first hand but he made up for that only discretion with many a strong away performance.
-
Good signing for the Bandits, PK is a strong rider and a good No1 .
-
Would have Antti back no problem. Had 2 years experience now on away tracks, hopefully attack them with more confidence if he is back for a 3rd season.

Really cold afternoon outside the shelter of the arcade. Like you say big thumbs up to all on the stall π₯Άπ

Haha

I think the Pirates are to be commended on refusing to bow to increased rider demands above what was agreed in the original 2 year contract.

Agree Bowes has potential. He had 3 very good meetings for Worky at home against Scunny and Glasgow and away at Poole the latter after which he was probably tapped up for 2026. He failed to back those performances up in subsequent meetings. He missed a few meetings for Worky and never rode at Plymouth or Oxford. He found Armadale extremely challenging scoring 2 points from 8 rides over 2 meetings but he wasn't alone among Worky riders who struggled there. If he gates at Poole he will score okay but if he doesn't I believe he may struggle. He followed up his 13 for Worky with 2 guesting for. Glasgow. He won't have the same pressures on him next season bearing in mind he probably won't be riding in Poland where he never pulled up any trees in the U24's or for Tarnow. I wish him well but you are welcome to him the way he treat Workington.

I think so, but I don't make the rules unfortunately.

Didn't Cooper Rushen sign when he was 15 ?
-
Because maybe he had already been tapped up before that point .

Seems to me that now more than ever, is the time that riders who have been supported by British Speedway over the last 20 years should seriously consider giving something back in whatever way they can.
-
Could yet win by default

Believe Jonas is a good solid signing at No1 for the Comets. Would make a good partnership with Batch at 5 .

Trouble seems to be that the East of England Agricultural Society whom I believe own some or all of the land do not seem to want speedway as part of the leisure plans they have for the Showground .
