Well within the official rules as you well know @lewy 😄 but pilots have managed to keep that underperforming / injured rider on a 5 point average when his true average is just over 3 points, so a decent guest can be used, until another rider takes up the £s offered to ride in lots of end of season fixtures, my guess could be slater lightcap, but not until mid August so he won't get a true average

British final 15th August

Not a regular rider in Britain, the top 8 averages from last season qualify to be seeded to the final, the other 16 ride in a semi final, so that is the reason Cooper Rushen got a wildcard entry, as he did not have an average as only turned 16 this year -

Bus from Piccadilly bus stops £2 each way, 201, 202+203 bus , stops a 5 minutes walk from the track, takes around 10/15 minutes depending on traffic and stops, buses run every 10 minutes during the day every 15 minutes in the evening. I had no problem using the bus for both days of the GP -
If you think this situation is bad, wait until next season, as if rumoured Poland introduce a Poland + 1 other league rule for any rider in the first 2 polish leagues 😲. So say Mr Lawson or A N Other signs for a polish team, he could only ride for 1 of Poole, Ipswich or Denmark. How will the British leagues cope with no double uppers, or no Danish riders as the will ride in Denmark for sponsorship.

Didn't the main track man walk away a couple of years ago and since then the track has been iffy to say the least

How long will Ace pijper be out due to big off at team GB practice at Glasgow on Saturday, seems to has been caught by another rider after falling, was a post on his Facebook page yesterday, nothing appears to be broken, but seems to be very bashed up

He is contracted to Northampton, has a championship average so can guest in our league, also could sign for a championship team as this world be his 4th league, after premiership, Denmark and Poland -

Against Poole a couple of weeks ago, imo it was some of the best racing all through the meeting not just one or two races, only problem was Poole won by a canter, but watching will cairns at 17 riding out wide was unbelievable -

One did but at this late stage if the rider was willing, could a visa be arranged in time, think we reach 75% of matches after Berwick on Saturday so that would be the last day for a change -

Several notes from both Andrew Bain and James Denham in past programmes mentioned the crowds are not what we were expecting. I am not making things up, I read the programme notes and count heads in the crowd, I was also told a break even crowd figure, but out of respect to the promotion I won't disclose that figure. With the great racing, most speedway fans are certainly entertained at Northside, yes I want my team to win, but if I watch a good battle and great racing, I am more than happy. The Poole match at home a classic example of this, but was the opposite at Berwick in the BSN or Poole last week, both of which I was in attendance
