Seen a video clip of cookie looking very fast and smooth, even got the Dan bewley line off the fence coming into turn 3 đ
-
Unfortunately I'm hearing pilots are sniffing about another young prospect âšī¸
-
No, but for some reason seems to be hyped up more, hope all the young guns make it into top riders đ

Can beat that back in the 90's drove from Workington to Oxford found out it was rained off when we got there, no mobile phones back in the day , spent a dry afternoon in Oxford went to Swindon massive storm 1 hour before the meeting and called off returned back home 600 miles and no speedway đ§
-
But Luke has been improving steadily, and goes about his racing quietly and has not been hyped up as much as others . Hopefully the young kids will kick on and be medal winners for team GB in the future
-
Hearing bikes going round this morning, maybe Craig having a spin or one of the Danes have arrived ready for p+p

Maybe speedway is getting like F1 if you have money behind you, you can get a team place đ¤ -

IMO Rushen is a far better prospect as he can gate a little, but his racing/passing is out of the world for a 15 now 16 year old and also seems to have the self promotion to put his name out and about, looking forward to seeing how this boy does, planning a trip across to Redcar when Poole come north just to watch the kid đ Another youngster to watch out for, but is only 9/10 years old at the moment is Oscar Berwick đ -

Also cairns has had a growth spur in the tail end of last season which won't help when most riders are not big these days -
Be good for a wheelie contest đ
-
Craig is a type of rider who in the past had done only a little bit of practice, bit like batch đ hearing Craig has lost a bit of weight, so good to go, will be fighting Jonas for the number 1 position đ
-
Hasn't he got to qualify in Australia to get a UK visa ?
-
Too far away at the moment, but will pay a visit in summer when the Comets come to Poole đ
-
Bowes next as he's been to Bournemouth this weekend but can't find any dummies big enuf đđ
-
But for this to happen British speedway has got to get it's house in order, clubs to give intention to run etc by the end of August, so these top riders can sign up and know where they are potentially gonna ride at in 2027, before they commit to other leagues

Godfrey will be too busy counting the money after the stocks on a bank holiday weekend, worky have the rearranged p+p on good Friday then home meeting against Redcar on Saturday (weather permitting )

In my opinion he was on the pace in the Peter craven at belle Vue, but outclassed by the top guys, but last nite looked poor could not gate, maybe did not want to risk it on a greasy track ?

Get what you are saying @IainB but they as a charity surly don't need to put every penny spent down, we all know the amount raised is falling every year, we know by several updates, who in current times and over the years they have had and still are helping, don't want to single anyone out, but to my knowledge by reading or being told by riders public words, Tom Brennan Tate Zischke Ben Barker past Joe Owen Lawrence Hare Alan Wilkinson, obliviously many many more. Just be thankful that this charity is running to help the riders and families out, now and in the future -
Is it correct that Richard Lawson had no bikes at p+p ?

I have an Hotmail email but set up my new account/ subscription no problem

Always the same riders commit to a meeting with a well deserved cause, but pull out last minute, then people wonder why fans won't travel to support said meetings especially as it's not a good forecast -
Wasn't their something earlier in winter about Lawson losing a sponsor or having some other issues with who supplied his bikes đ¤

That's the rules as far as I understand, but because it's the pilots that new rule will probably apply. " In the interests of speedway" đ

BBC couldn't forecast tomorrow is Saturday never mind the weather 7 days away
