Isn't it strange all the people who are knocking batch only talk about a couple of episodes of strange behaviour, but Troy has had some very good meetings for the Comets over the last couple of years, at Redcar he was superb same as at Oxford and Plymouth, true fans witness these meetings and don't take notice of hearsay. Agree can be frustrating when not in the right frame of mind, but 98% of the time I have no issues at home or away with Troy on a 7.10 average

Good signing imo, not a No 1 these days but mostly solid scores, often good when a HT 13 + 15 result required. Will be a good back up to Jeppesen at No 1. @lewy will be disappointed as he wanted him at Plymouth 😄

Put it this way it's a bit on the small side, would fit on the centre green at Northside and still have room to spare, it's the narrowest track I have been to in 55 years of watching speedway

If it does survive looking like 5 teams, very few top riders and play each other 3 times home and away. Got some good friends who are witches fans, and not looking forward to watching kings Lynn 6 times

Etheridge has a lower average which was achieved in the main body of the team, hooky average was from reserve, so guess this is why hooky was not invited back, not a fan of etheridge if he is announced, but not my choice, will be still buying a season ticket. UTC🔵⚪

Comets have posted on Facebook that season tickets details coming soon. So with this and Plymouth announcing season ticket details, must mean the league set up is decided just to be officially released by them in charge higher up

Ok give you that 🙃 but those 2 teams have always made a team announcement. Others drip feeding names

The reason a team announcement is dragged out, is it usually gives publicity to the club over a few weeks. This season the make up of the league is not officially known, but seems the promotion know which direction the league is going , I was told all 7 riders are signed, BUT due to the official league set up / number of fixtures involved not known until rubber stamped at the AGM the full team may not be announced until after the AGM.
