Heard a rumour tonight, cookie has signed, but another name that has signed was a very strange one Zach Wajtknecht
-
Didn't know Poole had an airport 😝
-
Sorry for bringing this up from the past, where it should be But apparently I've been told that this scumbag has a interview in this week's bible about wanting to make a come back 🤡😡
-
Regarding the young riders, a lot of teams have a NDL team or a junior team being ran in the Northern or midland junior league, thus helping local youngsters start and progress through the levels of the sport. But it appears Poole don't have this, then use ££s to encourage the youngsters to join them. Even when Poole put the youngsters meeting on last season Paul starke was riding in the event 🤔
-
No need to mention heeps he's well passed it
-
Knudsen is another who doesn't turn up all the time
-
Apparently drew has signed for dagvalgas ( crap spelling) the Latvian team than rides in the polish 2nd tier ? Which can be difficult to get vto, hence no championship speedway for now
-
Good signing getting coops, but imo will struggle at home as Poole is not noted as a track to pass on, young cooper not the best of gaters at present. But is a rider that I would travel a distance to watch as I think he has got great potential, don't spoil that pirates
-
Didn't drew kemp do this before, wanting to try Poland and not UK speedway, then came back to UK speedway, when the rides did not materialize in Poland ?
-
Before turning 16 Will gave an understanding that he would sign for worky either junior team or main team, then his advisor got involved and said sign for Poole, whether said advisor is on commission who knows
-
May change his mind like cairns did last year 🙃 also could share a lift with batch to get to worky 😃
-
But if said persons missed 4 meetings £25 each 2 people so £200 lost, multiply that by saying 50 couples that a potential loss of £10k that's on top of normal losses for each meeting. Then potential sponsors won't come on board due to lack of TV. Sorry to say this but speedway is more fooked than usual
-
But worky in a league of nine teams, if they raced the teams twice, would mean 10 weeks apart, but in premiership the team comes around again in 5 weeks then again in another 5 weeks time, too often imo
-
Smith been about for years and has not improved, imo far better giving a younger rider a go
-
But several clubs are rumoured to lose lots of money, so paying the fine means you have no hassle running a speedway team in the present climate, and saving time and effort to get riders, replace riders, organise rescheduled fixtures etc etc. If this is correct no wonder both Sheffield and Ipswich are struggling to find a buyer
-
Rumours are 3 home 3 away meetings in the league, then the play offs. So imo very repetitive when only 4 teams will visit your home track. I know of several people at various premiership tracks, that won't be going to see all home meetings due to them visiting a minimum of 3 times
-
Isn't peak summer also a good grass track month as well ?
-
A big fine could be better than losing a fortune in a very watered down and repetitive premiership !!
-
Trying not to be negative to speedway and the Comets promotion, BUT at the moment clubs are following rules talked about, but until the postponed AGM in early January, nothing is totally agreed and signed off, , and could change drastically if the rubbish hits the fan with the top league 🤔 so maybe the comets have a team sorted and signed, but are waiting until after the AGM to confirm things.
-
Help out in other ways marra 😄 oil and fuel sponsor for a rider and executive club member so far
-
Gonna wait till the fixtures are out before season ticket is bought, holiday may clash with speedway
-
A bit like triggers brush on only fools and horses, had the same brush for many years, but had many replacement handles and brushes 😃
-
Any pom pom hats to keep head me warm and dry 🙃

Think you need to remember who you dropped to get cairns in the team part way through the year
