We were clever and did not have a meeting arranged for that day, we have the charity / memorial meeting at the weekend, and a stoney talk in at the evening, to raise funds for the stoney SRBF and other good causes

Been dry and sunny all day with a good breeze, so track had to be watered, 1st few heats very wet, riders could not see if they missed the gate, then it dryed out and a little dusty towards the end. That was when the Comets got more into the meeting, heat 13 and 15 was very good

No excuses beaten by a better team. Only 4 heat winners and can't win a meeting with this few winners, well done the tiggers, some decent racing towards the end of the meeting

I did say he is a batch type character at times, and this was one of them days

Then why arrange a fixture when multiple riders are going to be missing ??
