Teams are built at the start of the year within the points limit, but more importantly are built to come within a budget, Don't know if you've noticed but our crowds could be a lot better, unless your gonna put your hand in your pocket to help out the promotion. Just be thankful we have speedway to watch at which is probably the best race track and viewing in the country 😀. I was at Poole last night they had a crowd of 1500 - 1800 so they can afford the best riders

Well what can I say 🤔 as predicted, but on a dusty track the water cart only came out in 2 of the 4 grading breaks, the last few heats were like watching through a dust storm, granted Lawson's pass in HT 15 was good, but the rest of the racing if you can call it that, was not exciting. But the pilots fans will be happy. On a brighter note was good to meet up with a few names on here 😃 and I'm now an honorary member of the NID corner 😄

A few Comets fans will be on the 1st bend with ours banners don't think you will miss us 🤣

Will look out for you both again tomorrow 🙂 also got an invite to pop over to see the NID crew via a Facebook post, hope they are friendly as well 🙂

Went back to Australia to complete his studies, only just turned 16 so another couple of years until exams are finished. Then we will all have to wait to see who he signs for, and whether he chases the £s or the track for experience. Maybe Darcy will tell him to go north 😜 that would annoy @LisaColette 🤣🤣

I'm hearing that this situation is a big talking point with most of the promotions, apparently they are trying to figure out how to work 1 home 1 away like football, so 2 or 3 home fixtures a month for next season

Poole have a northern ish tour this weekend scunny and worky , maybe a new rider won't fit in the schedule, bit of a shame no Bowes at worky, as I'm sure he would have got a warm welcome back to the GT tyres Northside arena 😜🤣

Something has to be done at the promoters meeting over winter about all the gaps between meetings, at ALL tracks, we can see now fans are not happy, and now for Poole looks like several meetings in a few days, at the height of summer when cash maybe needed for family days out somewhere. IMO the fixtures should be like football, 1 home 1 away then you would have 2/3 meetings every month at home

Only problem with that statement, you do know that the Poole track has very little shale on it, so you definitely won't feel shale on your face 😜 maybe dust early on before the blue groove appears 🤣
