After 20 odd years of no speedway I think the people of Bradford/Halifax and surrounding areas will support it in the short term, 2-3 years, when Workington re opened in 1999 after 18 years, the crowds in 1981 were around 300 hard core fans, opening night 4000 ish fans and the first few years crowds were 2000 plus well above break figures crowds dropped off in the end, but we went out in style with the treble and made H18TORY

Yes I can get your point, but if the speedway star ( and subscriber's ) are paying for a 1st class postage fee, surly a 1st class delivery is expected, would say 3 days tops to deliver items, not 5 days or more !!

Triple ditto from Cumbria, but in slight defence of royal mail in Workington, a mate who works there !! Said a lot of staff off sick with covid/symptoms or isolation and normal winter sickness

Even though I live in West Cumbria, was at the last Hyde road meeting, 1st and last at kirky lane, and the 1st at nss, but only saw the couple of practice rides, then into city centre to drown our sorrows !!

Was an article in speedway star a few weeks ago with the guy who hopes to do something, but we are in strange times at the moment, so would not like to guess the outcome, also Workington is home to several families who like to live in caravans !! And our local council have earmarked Northside area for a special site for the said people !!, Which would be an official one rather than the illegal ones they are using in the said area now and it is full of various bits off rubbish or worse left by the said people, so would not like to venture down to watch speedway

Don't know about Manchester but been heavy rain past 2 days in Cumbria, would have been no chance of speedway
