From a happy traveling comets fan, was good to enjoy the victory BUT with its been berwicks last team home meeting was disappointing for bandit fans to not have any riders interviews or thank you's, yes the sponsor gave away 2 bottles of fizz , but no other riders got to say any word of thanks. Your announcer is not normally short of a word or 2 to say
And some teams may struggle to get meetings in before the cut off date, in early September should maybe not have had weeks without meetings.
Does anyone know when the cut off date is officially
League cut off date early September I think, so I'm guessing 7/'8 September too late, so only 24th August is possible date, but it's speedway so anything can happen
Poole fans moaned about dust at worky, think due to the weather you will see far more dust at Wimboard Road 2morrow that's if the blue groove does not appear
Think worky instructed the bspa about a team change during the actual meeting so in theory the 15th/75% meeting was still taking place so well within the rules !!
Gino is/was riding in Sweden, also think he will need a visa to ride in the uk and if like the aussies will have had to finish in the top 3/5 of the national championships. Which I don't think gino has done
But even before the summer promotion of kids go free, they were a lot of younger fans at the speedway, and I too have noticed, bar at Glasgow, not many kids attended the speedway, and I travel a lot to watch the sport
As all the people who are complaining about the dust are Poole fans, which after watching speedway at wimboard Road, they do not see effects of shale changing depending on the weather, poor track with a blue groove equals no dust
Them prices sound about right, this should have been the prices in the SON but the organiser got the price structure wrong, will they do any better gor a potential GP ?
You still need a big space to put a standard size FIM track in. Which won't fit in the coop arena. You are looking at an athletes or football stadium, which to me is Alexander stadium at Birmingham, London stadium West ham football ground, or yhe new Wembley, maybe even the new Everton ground, but all these will have high costs
New Manchester arena 25000 Cardiff 75000 so Cardiff is 3 times bigger than Manchester and you still want to put a speedway track inside Manchester coop arena not enuf room
