  1. Video on social media of unofficial press and practice day at Northside, maybe some clever people can add a link, or THJ may post something later, as he is on video trying to count to four with his fingers
  2. Speedy recovery Dann this may make him stronger as now he knows the injuries from 2018 are hopefully OK after this and can go and concentrate on riding a bike, hopefully a gp final at Cardiff will be the icing on the cake
  3. Dan Bewley has had a bad crash in Poland tonight looks like another replacement required
  4. Couple of tractors for sale at Newcastle but would not trust the guy who is trying to sell them !!!
  5. What time is the meeting on please, on holiday in Greece maybe able to sneak a look, come on comet Dan bewley
  6. Av got yan you can have but the lines and numbers have worn of on the 1st 12 inch
  7. Bet he will have something to complain about, maybe how far Poole is away fra worky so he can see speedway on a decent track
  8. Can just about remember in early 70's I was only 8 or 9 when a polish test side came over, everyone of them had a go at demolishing the fence, then in 1981 guy Wilson went over fence like a rag doll coming out of bend 4, taken off tho hospital then returned to Derwent lounge to a standing ovation, was the same nite a certain Ian Thomas had a police escort out of the stadium. happy days
  9. If your on about CC can't see him being home area bound as it's susposed to be conference league and training school etc at 1st. Maybe has had enough as this season seems to be injury prone and expensive in blown engines and damaged bikes
  10. Doesn't sound like it wen you keep going on about have far fans are or are not away from the track, it isn't bloomin finished yet give them a chance
  11. Good news for monarchs but has planning permission been sorted yet ? This could be a drawn out process, then may not be ready for next season even in very basic form !!
  12. Why are you being so negative on a potential new track opening that has potential to be equal to belle Vue? From memory several tracks don't have massive spaces between fench and crowd berwick Glasgow Redcar scunthorpe belle Vue Peterborough properly more but can't think 1st thing in the morning . I think the bspa track people have been to see the track and been in discussions about it, so they are happy. Why is Steve shovlar not happy
  13. Not been to Poole for about 20 years do my memory is wrong
  14. You still Don get it !!! Work still in progress but when ready to open spectators will stand on top of the bank and won't be allowed near the fence, as said previously bit like back straight at Redcar how hard is this to understand !!!!! One of the previous photos explains where the grandstand is proposed to go If my memory is correct not much safety zone at Poole from the fench to the crowd
  15. Per lap jenga !!! your having a laugh, even THJ could do a lap faster than that !! 78 seconds for 4 laps
  16. Steve lawson gonna double up as reserve and track man
  17. I have no inside knowledge but the plan was to start small conference league training schools track days etc then see how it goes. But as you say how many speedway teams will be left in all 3 leagues??
  18. Hopefully not, the ones in this area got moved by the council and contractors spent a good few days clearing a the crap up and rubbish as well !!!
  19. Normally the British final winner is the wild card
  20. Remember Glasgow were in charge at the time. Yes happened at Workington but nowt to do with them
  21. Looking good THJ but so far Mr shovlar has not responded to this or his previous out burst, wonder if he has died of shame being so far wrong ??
  22. The tracker and grader would be no good as it will have been shaken to bits going round and round rough park !! are the holes for sale someone may need them to make a bit of home advantage
  23. The poo incident when they watered the track with a tanker full of slurry (liquidfied cow manure) was the final straw of several incidents like temporary flood light failure ones used on roadworks in the late 80's not being up to standard, poor maintained track, Glasgow track staff turned up late afternoon on a Friday for the evening meeting, also key track staff often turning up hard on meeting time, after being at work in Glasgow during the day. The bspa and Glasgow promotion pulled the plug with a few matches left to run, also was not supported well by local comets fans, despite name change to Workington tigers
