Think other rounds of the GP2 are nite before the GPs as I think they are run on normal speedway tracks, but with Cardiff being specially built, think they are worried the track would be damaged before the main event
No time marra got to be up at 5 to work in a local engineering company then home to do housework etc as my wife's disabled so very little time to put me feet up, but find time later on to do lots of fishing on this forum, you be surprised to how many big catches I get up the toon you need to start winning or you will be going down. Enjoy if that's the phrase watching the toon
The temporary road over the railway line Opposite Asda was removed a while ago after a new bridge on the road to the docks was built, so park up near the big pile of logs and walk round the locked gate 5 minutes down the road you will see the track on your right hand side. Also a small car park on the right just over the bridge, but the caravan people were parked here the other week
Lots of trees and earth moved to make the track as big and wide as it is now,. Not clear on the photo but on the infield coming out of 4th bend (Rh side of photo ) is an electric pole about 8 meters from the curb, this was on the outside of the original training track near where the refs box was.
Sorry Geoff been at work,so no reply and I'm not in the know, just doing good guesswork and putting out any info without spoiling anything for the people behind the project, THJ will be well in the know as already mentioned, but was told road plannings will be laid down on top of any mud banks
True speedway fans say as it is, even if we are comets fans, just because we (at the moment ) don't have a team does not mean we can't watch speedway and have an opinion
As previously mentioned seats awaiting remember little by little the acorns grow, can remember a little stadium in a field on the outskirts of Berwick was a good little place, berrington Lough was the name, but maybe before lots of people's time !! Redcar also took time to grow into what it is now
