  1. Fixtures logged and digested 😀 good news I'm on the correct shift for all fixtures (happily retired 😛) couple of hotels booked for southern trips 🍚 roll on the season starts UTC 🏁ðŸ”ĩ⚩
  2. I wonder who them 2 guys are ðŸĪ”, all I'm hearing is voices 😜
  3. In worky's fixtures the blanks in June/July say reserved for KO cup / BSN semi finals
  4. A few people travel through from Newcastle, I know some arrive very early for their commitments at the track. but maybe you could get a lift back off them ? or other people going back your way
  5. Have the volunteers signed the same NDA ( none disclosure agreement) as the owners and signed? riders
  6. Who's bothered about that 😃 and most matches will kick off after midnight UK time, so plenty of time to get home and make your Coco and the football will send you asleep no problem ðŸĪŠ
  7. The world cup final is last weekend of August. 1st qualification round beginning of may before the German GP the other is before the Latvian gp
  8. BUt 1 week maybe blank for the GP in Manchester and 2 dates are reserved for KO cup and BSN. But if your promotion doesn't put this out blame them ðŸĪŠ
  9. Sunset time 7.34 beginning of April 8.15 end of April, so if floodlights are not available theirs a fighting chance to get a meeting over before it goes dark, can't be any worse than lights at some tracks 😛
  10. Bad news is always buried behind good news 😛 pick which one is bad news
  11. Glasgow have a few hospitality boxes that sponsors or a group of people can book to watch the speedway eat and drink. Can do it at worky and other tracks, even if not advertised they will be open to do something 😀
  12. Saw the clip looked good coming from the back against some bigger names
  13. Don't think he is solely involved now, as too many complaints about how good the Edinburgh fixtures were planned ðŸĪŠ
  14. It probably is because I don't think it can get much lower than where speedway is now
  15. He's still trying to spit the dummy out 😛
  16. Years ago a lot of the various owners used to run speedway as a tax loss/dodge for their main business, probably similar now, but it's more regulated, so a bit harder to do, unless you have a good accountant 🙃
  17. That's what a few clubs have thought in the past few years, for a rider who has years of experience, starting on a low average, should increase that, but for some reason or another, he is still on a low 4 point average
  18. Probably still struggle to get fixtures in before the start of September deadline day
  19. Yes other riders and teams will be affected. Think a lot of people/fans don't realise how many of these major and minor FIM meetings affect British speedway, and at a cost to said riders and family to travel
  20. This company was formed in August, more than likely the operating company for the GPs
  21. The main and Micky mouse FIM meetings are the big problem for weekend championship fixtures, take my team worky, both Tate and the new young Dane will be in official GP 2 qualifications and various U19 and U24 meetings, pairs and fours, seemed last year was a FIM or European meeting most weekends in June July and August
  22. Due to the extreme winter weather this year Workington have had to postpone several planned track days, probably same for other places, hopefully the weather improves and tracks can run a few extra track/training days to make up for missing out
  23. IF Northampton is the magic 6th team, can anyone say if a different planning application by the council is needed ? Or will the stock car planning permission cover all Motorsports ? Does the stadium have unlimited evening consent? IF no to this could be a no go as council planning decisions take ages.
  24. Different readers for different leagues but same problem ðŸĪŠ
  25. Klindt testimonial 15th march 1st meeting Ben fund 29th but so far that's the only UK speedway ðŸ˜Ū both leagues fixtures still to be released, fans are wanting to make plans, sponsors want to know what and when they are going to sponsor meetings. Yet they, the so called promoters are NOT promoting the sport to attract fans/sponsors. They they will complain when the crowds are down ðŸ˜ŊðŸ˜Ą
