But aren't the riders classed as self employed these days ? If so , it will be probably the riders responsibility to get insurance, the clubs don't directly employ the riders as their are no assets anymore, A bit like if you get a job done on your house, you don't get insurance for the person doing the job, you hope they have their own insurance to cover any possible issues
