For those complaining about an early call off rain now forecast early afternoon , Berwick also been called off tonight but rain not due from the west until late evening. Think Speedway is now a sunny weather sport, but agree with the Comets management decision

Will be more riders dropping points soon to keep under a 8 point average, so they have a better chance of a team place, if the one over 8 is still in place next year 😜

Forecast on most apps show rain showers then rain from 15.00 . Dammed if you do , dammed if you don't, the life of a speedway promotion 😃

Hope cooper is just shaken up and not injured. But this news turns the result back in favour of the bears 😃

According to the weekly averages in the speedway star Batch is on 8.10 after 8 meetings not bad for someone who many say is past it 😃 think he started the season at 6.80 so an increase of 1.30 is not bad for an old timer 😜

FYI batch has been scoring a solid 7-12 points in the meetings so far for the Comets. If our top 5 turn up they could score 45 points between them, but could also do sod all 😜 just need no retirements in point scoring position like last week at home, which cost us the win

Honestly can't see many Oxford fans travelling for the 2 meetings especially after seeing the side put out at Edinburgh 2morrow. Imo taking the fans of both sides for granted with that side, so won't be much booiing, as Poole are not riding 😜

Very poor Oxford side listed for Edinburgh, but unfortunately they have better guests on Saturday, with sedgman for riss , cairns for Killeen and mcdiamort back from his trip to Poland

The return of the cookie monster ( if fully fit 🤔 ) could tip this meeting in the favour of the Comets, more so if Killeen is out injured. Also could have a chance of beating the tiggers on Friday, the Comets have ridden well at ashfield in previous years and the tiggers are having a few close meetings at home , or even getting beat

Another tough meeting for the Comets, hopefully the mid week rain and later start time will help the track preparation,

How convenient a poor scoring rider is out, with a non speedway injury?? keeping his average high, for a future change, and far better riders take his place, thus potentially scoring more points 😲. That's not cheating is it 😃
