  1. Just seen on updates of Richard lawson testimonial that Poole are intending to run 1st leg of play off on 11th September against comets or tiggers . Unfortunately if we qualify could be another low crowd for the 2nd leg, if the 1st leg result is not very good
  2. I hope the missing fans turn up in large numbers for our last league match with Plymouth, think if we win then we are in the play offs. But the fans need to show the promotion speedway can survive at worky, any more crowds like yesterday won't do the future any good . Rant over UTC
  3. Yes he has, it's an imaginary friend πŸ˜€ joking apart safe trip home marra @lbw
  4. Think it's gonna be closer than the league meeting, going for a comet's win 46-44 hopefully meet up with a few pilot fans, and lbw πŸ˜‰ UTC
  5. So tiggers could still get 6 points, but got to beat Oxford and score over 56 points to get bonus, but when is the cut off date, and has this fixture been arranged yet ?
  6. Should support the comets win lose or draw, if more people are like you, and it's a poor crowd, for a top class opposition, what do the promotion think, if the crowd is down, especially when they will have an eye on 2025 season. UTC
  7. Cheap option as we've no chance of overturning the 1st leg score
  8. What time are you going for a poo πŸ€” keep us upto date πŸ˜›πŸ˜„
  9. Premier inn now gone up to Β£350 a night. Several are sold out !! And we thought it was expensive for speedway weekend
  10. Announced in the stadium GP returns to Cardiff 2025, this year's was not put on sale until early September
  11. Just looked stadium premier inn only Β£124 far cheaper than for speedway was Β£165 on the day for Saturday nite
  12. Probably no more rain left in the sky after all the monsoons up in worky area
  13. Looks like the sun will have its hat on as well. Agree will be a good result if we scrape a win, but remember Edinburgh in 2018 πŸ™‚
  14. Right on que the next monsoon and high winds have hit Workington
  15. I've seen on reviews for the asda car park that no cameras are in operation so can park without any payment to a 3rd party parking company. Can't confirm as not parked in said place, was going too for SON final, but got street parking on main road to stadium, was very early though
  16. Got to feel a little bit sorry for Plymouth putting in the miles over a bank holiday weekend, but cut off date for league was/still is 31st August, so the fixture has to be put in, saying that due to forecast/ heavy rain through the week, worky could be off on Sunday
  17. We called it off early last time but you were not very happy about it πŸ˜‰
  18. Are any dates announced for 2025 gp yet ?? Maybe only Warsaw With all this negatively around an previously announced future event, hope discovery don't follow items on here 😜
  19. Was announced in the stadium that its Cardiff 2025. Why do people not believe??
  20. Just putting out there for any doubtful Plymouth fans, 2 inch of rain in worky Wednesday nite, storm Lillian due to dump another 2 inch tonight. So the track maybe under a little bit of water, caravan sites around Keswick evacuated major flooding in surrounding areas. But we will hopefully get our last league match in and finish in the top 4 and play offs despite people saying we had a poor side at the beginning of the season UTC
