Well that was a pleasing result, was expecting the comets to lose at home, with the published team, but 6 of the guys stood up to be counted, fantastic racing by both sides at times, and the crowd was a lot better than expected after last nites result. Unfortunately the crowd will be down, yes a very poor performance last nite, guest choice is what it is a a late hour when your track is a long way from many riders based, onwards and upwards in the life of a comets fan. I witnessed many shocking performances in 1980+81 that were worse than last nite. UTC 🔵⚪🏁😀

At 10 o clock on a Saturday evening when a meeting starts at 3 o clock the next day, options for a rider to be available is very very limited. Some probably enjoying some down time with family or friends, would be virtually impossible to organise bikes/ mechanic and travel from say Oxfordshire or East Anglia at this short of notice. Got to turn up and support the Comets whatever team is put out. On a possible for monarchs fans cluff may double his points score by beating Jamie in heat 2 😀😀

I think the rule is that official footage if provided can be used for the referee to make his decision, but has to defer the result until the footage is seen, you can't announce a result then go and look at a fans footage and change your mind. The decision wouldn't have affected a drubbing for the comets , but the officials have to abide by the rules, the sport 🤔 is becoming more of a joke every weekend

If the above regarding Mr Blair and the referee, them in charge should be looking into this and fine / suspend both patties. But I won't hold me breath as them in charge don't seem to care

Well looks like I'm wrong 😲 @LisaColette the 8 day rules applies Saturday to Saturday but as the comets are riding on Sunday 9 days from last meeting, this falls outside the 8 day rule. So in theory Cooper Rushen could guest again but as good as the young kid is, he won't help the comets cause, and I don't think bartoz or Dan Bewley could either 😜

Not angry about the result as well won the 2nd half. But Greg Blair is susposed to be an impartial announcer, but was gobbing off telling the referee what decision to make, which should not be allowed, also the ref called the result, then after Blair said look at a reply he changed his mind, if he was in doubt he should have deferred the result pending a video review. Comets came back from a bigger defeat in 2018 maybe can do it again 🤔

Wish it would go off at the track as well 😜
