  1. Imo it's too early for the Comets to move up, need to have another year at this level, the people in charge of speedway need a good plan to what is going to happen in the future as its is now around 4-6 track may not be running next year, top league needs to attract some clubs to replace the ones who will/may lose their stadiums, could go on with more reasons. But it's speedway day weather looks OK get down to the northside arena and enjoy watching the comets win (hopefully)
  2. Should be an interesting meeting today, track should ride good, belle Vue back at full strength, Comets put on a good show last night at the NSS a very enjoyable meeting, BUT the riders need their gating shoes on ,as last night all struggled to gate, and a couple of riders were very off the pace!!! Losing 3-4 points off your last year's average says it all really !!! Anyway rant over speedways back at the northside arena UTC
  3. Too any belle Vue fans, is the back straight open for these meetings? Coming down from worky to watch the comets at the NSS
  4. Several questions previously asked, no concrete answers, several suspicions
  5. In conners statement he was having a 21st birthday celebration, also a full time apprentice with allied vehicles/Ford, and lives in Glasgow, as British U21 champion maybe he should have been 1st replacement when the seeded riders started to drop like flies
  6. Yeah can see a pole s##ting themselves seeing Plymouth after polish/Peterborough tracks
  7. Regarding your new signing, maybe waiting to make sure he's not injured at Peterborough tonight, Maybe Oxford have a bigger piggy bank than Glasgow Regarding Ashton
  8. A lot lot better than Mr b . Plus Ashton can ride a bike and overtake, unlike the other person mentioned did
  9. Agree with what you say, but have seen the young kid 3 times this year and he's got the lot, a big future, the last rider I felt the same about at the same age was Joe screen going ride belle Vue after meetings at 15
  10. What's wrong with doing that . Poole fans spam every thread
  11. Conner riding for Wroclaw U24 side, and has ridden most of the season, even though he was only expecting to ride a couple of meetings
  12. Also I've read that conner Bailey is serving his apprenticeship with allied vehicles/Ford so may not have been able to get time off work !! Remember at the start of the season no one wanted conner apart from worky comets
  13. Very late notice when you are enjoying your 21st birthday, or a young kid and mechanic going half way over Europe for a reserve place at mostly your own expense!! What would your response be if you were asked??
  14. Looks like as normal, if your face does not fit with the southern mafia you won't get picked. Even if you are the GB U21 champion
  15. Maybe as previously said a 28 day injury replacement, but letting luke get experience by allowing him to ride for the Comets
  16. Just making up rules to suit like Mr Godfrey does
  17. Good luck to the comets and the Hardy fans who travel to cheer them on
  18. Had a look last week seams to be an odd one here and there
  19. Think the rules are comets keep luke, as he is a temporary replacement for Redcar, but as we know they make up the rules to suit themselves. Could be a good guest in Ashton as he is on fire at the minute paid max at berwick on Saturday having his 1st visit
  20. Shud know by now bspa don't know what they are doing
  21. Another reason for early call off is to stop Kent riders and others from travelling or not travelling as far before a call off, sods law as writing this it's stopped raining and starting to brighten up, but damage already done with rain over nite
  22. Arrgh just watched BBC weather at lunchtime, definitely turned for the worse
