I know the tiggers usually have cash to splash, but I doubt they are many riders available to fill any mid / lower order team places, so I would think the money is kept in their pockets till next year, a little tweak at reserve to replace complin and that's its imo.even then I'm struggling to think of anyone available, unless a retired rider can be tempted back
-
But if he is being paid to do this (can't see him doing it for nowr) that's another waste of money especially when Birmingham appears to be struggling financially, even before this season

Wow lots of clubs would like part of that crowd, must have been only 400 at Plymouth on Tuesday imo (I did a rough head count) -
What about the son of one of your old top riders (not lawson) Frazer Bowes ?

1 thing stood out at Poole for me being a visitor fra worky. After your (big) win their was no parade of the riders to take the fans applause. I think the fans should be able to cheer the team after the results, And it looked a decent crowd, swelled by around 20 travelling fans -

Poole very good, all have set ups sorted, comets very poor apart from batch, oh well long journey home 2morrow. Hope the comets regroup for Saturday. Met a couple of posters off here at Poole nice to meet you guys -
Well nearly 24 hours after that shambles last nite, got to have another say, about 20 comets fans travelled down spent our money on admission food and drink, probably in the region of £500 + 1st no track preparation was done until 30 minutes before the meeting, then a 30 minutes delay, had an interval, then 1 heat later they decided to do some track work, we witnessed terrible speedway on a terrible track, this is giving speedway a bad name, yes the comets won, but speedway is the loser

The table topping comets come to take on the wannabees pirates the southern tour continues for the worky fans see you trackside UTC give us a C -
What a shambles of a club thought it would have been better this year not ten times worse embarrassed my company name is on that race suit Unfortunately this taken off a Plymouth Facebook post !!!! If this team is to survive the track has to be lots better, the home fans won't keep turning up to watch this . Yes I'm happy the comets have won away, worth the 400 mile trip to get the result. But as a speedway meeting it was very poor
-
Awful track one of the worst I've seen in 55 years following speedway, but a win is a win worth the 400 mile trip on to poole 2morrow UTC
-
Worse than a bouncy castle and I'm watching at the track
-
If the lights are as good as the track it will be racing by candlelight
-
At the track looking well dodgy soft patch on 3rd bend
-
Or triple deal as they bought a load of them GTR engines that were gonna save speedway, bet Godfrey can't get in his garage for them
-
Hope you gonna cheer the comets
