  1. Aye not a cheap place to stay, but as said you can have beers while watching speedway and put money into the club, yes parking in field behind the backstraight stand
  2. Was full of them last may when I came down with the comets
  3. J2ohn give it a rest, Will Cairns has signed an 18 month contract ( or will sign once he's 16 ) to ride for Poole from his 16th birthday in late June, after advice (and a management fee taken ) from Greg Hancock
  4. Re the zagar/klint debate, its not who could score the most, its who helps the club maintain the team budget/survival costs, klint lives in the uk so normal travel money needed, where you would have to fly zagar in or pay costs to stay between premiership and championship meeting . So imo klint wins, but won't score 12-15 points a meeting everytime, but will get 9/10 from 5 rides most times
  5. Poole going with another 2 point rider until will cairns turns 16 in late june
  6. Think it could be an elf and safety issue, club's/SCB not wanting people on center green due to possibility of stray bikes, and not enough time for them to come and go from/to a safe place between races
  7. In this financial climate where clubs are trying to not lose too much money, think more are just concentrating on official league and Cup meetings
  8. Heard its cancelled as the pairs takes its place in the fixture list, been a yearly event for many seasons, but maybe in this financial climate a lot of fans don't come too " friendly" fixtures
  9. Probably a delay due to poole wanting season to start at end of June, while all other teams want to face Poole before the end of June
  10. Anyone got any news when these will be released ?
  11. It appears looking at various recent interviews, all is not rosie in Poland regards to money, lots of riders are owed money, and lots of clubs are in debt, more so in the lower leagues, which klint and kilderman etc would ride for
  12. Hopefully fixtures will be like last season, worky rode Plymouth Tuesday Poole Wednesday then options for a track on way back north on the Thursday
  13. Not a bad signing, but at nearly a 10 point average think he will struggle to maintain that for the season, also liable to go missing if he misses the gate. But good luck to Plymouth hopefully down for a visit with the comets
  14. Looks like bspa / Godfrey have got their knickers in a twist, and worky getting the blame either way. Maybe after the new year celebrations worky should put a press release out, and maybe clear things up ( blame Godfrey )😛
  15. Apparently Workington were still to confirm a decision about joining the trophy league, due to no northern teams coming forward. But someone in charge ( Mr Godfrey ? ) released a press statement saying worky were going to be involved in the league
