Good summary mate , can't believe how Redcar turned into garbage when it mattered. Made Poole look massively better than they had been. Poole just stepped it up when it was needed.

Also it's promoted as "young" stars , some of the line up are definitely not "young" anymore. Totally false advertising by the organiser who could of filled it with age appropriate riders I'm sure.

Duck tape covering the spark plug cap and there's the wet set up sorted. Back in the upright days the always rode in the wet within reason .

At least ashton had a good go and did well, unlike many many riders that plug away each season and never improve.

What i mean is calling a meeting off just because it " might " rain later on in the late evening. Quite obvious Poole wanted the second leg at home to see what they needed to score, Redcar should apply the same as i sure they would prefer the second leg. Very silly comment to say as far as your aware! Loads of meetings are called off per season but just seemed too coincidental that Poole was a preempted .

Poole as usual making the rules, just award them the title now.

Like any Speedway ban as such , it'll make very little impact on vinnies season next year as he'll be banned for the off season, I doubt any action will be taken anyway.

Modern day riders across the board think everybody owes them a living and are beyond greedy when it comes to money. Very few if almost any would do anything for nothing, not like back in the 80s. Yes I realise they need to spend on machinery etc etc but they all make far more than the average working man so you'd think they'd give something back. This along with unreasonable admission prices is among other things that's destroying Speedway.

Summed up very nicely and the downfall of the brummie dream. Rogers has done nothing for Speedway other than don a foreign team manager hat at and given opportunity, obviously they were scraping the barrel.

Speedway riders choose to call themselves professional nowadays because they have made no time through doubling up etc ,Also choosing to ride abroad . This means they can't hold down normal jobs. Back in the day when Speedway was a million times better, most riders had jobs and Speedway was their payed hobby. It's got way out of hand that even these ndl and lower standard even call themselves professional aswell.

An ndl side would give them a good meeting

Viewed the heat 15 footage of the tapes fiasco and i don't think any other club would get away with that . Definitely the refs fault for not stopping it but the start Marshall should know better to do what he did.

Would of been apt to change team nicknames for the night, Oxford pirates etc.

I'd be more than extremely surprised if rushen was in any scunthorpe team ever, he's far to good a rider. Also agree that lambert has had his day now, time to overlook his loyalty.

Went to this, decent meeting but a definite divide between rider abilities. Some look very confident and in control, schimelt particularly looks like he's never rode before .

Cook will of earned more in Poland in one meeting than he would at Kings Lynn in a month so he'll hardly be bothered about being suspended.

Quite alarming that more amateur riders are deciding to pack in riding, very expensive hobby so completely understandable.
