Make space in the trophy cabinet

Should be challenging with a couple of other teams for the wooden spoon. Jenkins and Allen didn't do much in their last stint with the bears.

What will 2026 UK speedway bring?
ONTWOMINUTES replied to Lionsman66's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I'm going to as many meetings a week as I can in the 2026 season as it may be the last the way British speedway is heading. -
If that was true, why would they continue to run the following season knowing they would loose money? Hardly sensible business projection is it ?

Agm is a closed shop, all sat round the table deciding how they can line their own pockets whilst the sport goes further into decline.

Andy's Elsworth track was brilliant, pity it closed down. Andy was always on hand for a chat, very nice bloke.

Duck tape covering the spark plug cap and there's the wet set up sorted. Back in the upright days the always rode in the wet within reason .

No wonder speedway in the UK is on its arse.

Poole Blue Riband 24/9/25

Well said -
What i mean is calling a meeting off just because it " might " rain later on in the late evening. Quite obvious Poole wanted the second leg at home to see what they needed to score, Redcar should apply the same as i sure they would prefer the second leg. Very silly comment to say as far as your aware! Loads of meetings are called off per season but just seemed too coincidental that Poole was a preempted .

Like any Speedway ban as such , it'll make very little impact on vinnies season next year as he'll be banned for the off season, I doubt any action will be taken anyway.

Modern day riders across the board think everybody owes them a living and are beyond greedy when it comes to money. Very few if almost any would do anything for nothing, not like back in the 80s. Yes I realise they need to spend on machinery etc etc but they all make far more than the average working man so you'd think they'd give something back. This along with unreasonable admission prices is among other things that's destroying Speedway.
-
Any idea of line up or more importantly the admission price?

What's nonsense? Both parts of the post make total sense to everyone but you .

Summed up very nicely and the downfall of the brummie dream. Rogers has done nothing for Speedway other than don a foreign team manager hat at and given opportunity, obviously they were scraping the barrel.

Plymouth v Redcar - 16th August
ONTWOMINUTES replied to jbell1995's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Speedway riders choose to call themselves professional nowadays because they have made no time through doubling up etc ,Also choosing to ride abroad . This means they can't hold down normal jobs. Back in the day when Speedway was a million times better, most riders had jobs and Speedway was their payed hobby. It's got way out of hand that even these ndl and lower standard even call themselves professional aswell. -
