  1. You can't flush a battery down drown a drain like you can old engine oil
  2. Wise up people, this is speedway. If it has a chance to do something stupid and make its self look even more daft, it makes the most of that chance everytime. As a punter the only thing I can do is stop handing my cash over.
  3. Electric bikes with real bike sound through speakers, even by speedway standards that would be pathetic.
  4. Does speedway work on tv? It's viewing figures are low even for a minority sport.
  5. I think they be owned by the same people that own eurosport. Maybe itv 4 could show it if offered a free highlights package.
  6. Being on tv may not have affected crowd levels in general, but no one really knows for sure. What is sure though is they certainly haven't gone up since being on tv. I know of a few people that don't go as much now as they can watch it on tv.
  7. In world superbikes last year they actually allowed the bikes to be louder, as when they cut the decibel level it lost some of what makes bikes racing. Its now louder than ever, and the fans watching live get a better experience. Nothing beats the sound of an inline 4 or a twin at 15,000 revs .
  8. Technology moves on at such a fast rate, batteries or electric motors may be old hat in the not too distant future.
  9. They barely had enough power to get a proper slid on. Please let me be dead before that ever happens.
  10. I would imagine speedway will be dead and buried and forgotten about long before.
  11. Maybe if Nathan wasn't British he would have stood more of a chance of 2 teams .
  12. Glasgow Ipswich Sheffield Scunthorpe Lakeside Peterborough Edinburgh Redcar Workington Newcastle Berwick
