My mistake could’ve sworn he got excluded from the meeting. -
The most dangerous riders

Sean Wilson could be hard/dangerous at times, remember once at brough must’ve been 99 when Robert Ericsson was out number 1 Wilson wiped him out in heat 1 made no attempt to slide into the bend just tboned Robert and if I remember correctly sure Wilson got excluded from the rest of the meeting. No idea if there was previous bad blood between the pair sure someone might know…. -

I’m talking nonsense yet you bang on about heat 15 which I made no mention of, why didn’t he just do 3 rides then withdraw from the meeting then? Let’s applaud him for missing meetings (well except his polish ones) -

Broken/cracked ribs are notoriously painful injuries granted, he’s not riding Tuesday or Wednesday for either his clubs fair enough but I doubt he’ll miss the play off meeting in Poland at the weekend. Not childish at all he took time out earlier in the season when he was injured.. do so again instead of riding half fit and then missing meetings. If he had such breathing difficulties during the bv match surely track dr or paramedic should’ve medically withdrawn him from the meeting? -

Nothing silly about it? He was fit enough to complete four rides at bv in the morning but then was suddenly unfit for the evening meeting. If he was so “injured” don’t ride in either meeting… hardly rocket science. -

Bit of a piss take he’s fit to ride at bv a few hours earlier but can’t do the evening meeting, you’re either fit enough to do both meetings or don’t do either. -
Declan Killeen comes in to the side to replace the injured Alex Spooner.

I neither like Holder nor dislike him but he does seem to split opinions, to call him the new NP is a bit ott I can’t really think of any crashes where holder has fenced someone like Nicki did. Just because he doesn’t shake peoples hand after a race does that make him a bad person? I don’t mind he doesn’t acknowledge other riders most of the other riders have such a love in it’s too nicey nice.

Poole fans all around the world creaming themselves tonight hearing sweet Caroline.
-
Just wasn’t good enough tonight, due to the high standards he’s set the past 5 seasons or so he’s going through a bit of a rough period even his scoring in Poland has dipped a little bit.
-
Fit enough to score 7 points from four rides though.

Haha was undecided between one or two tracks jye…. Belle Vue and he used to score well around shielfield but that’s deserted him this season. -

Scunthorpe v Plymouth Double Header (2nd/3rd)

Maybe he’s annoyed at the team you sent to Scunthorpe rather than the racing, I think most fans could’ve seen that score line coming a mile off with the two sides. -

Poole Pirates Vs Glasgow Tigers 31/7/24
bloom89 replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I agree and disagree, Poole had abblitt for the full season without dropping him even though he didn’t score many points, then they left him out the following year didn’t make sense. Rowe and Kemp had good seasons with Poole they increase there average and then not needed the next season. No disrespect to anybody but you’ve got the likes of frederiksen hardly improved since he’s been at Edinburgh, heeps been on the way down for the last few seasons but keep on getting picked that’s the clubs fault for signing these journeymen imo. -
Starting averages for new foreign riders to uk leagues
bloom89 replied to egg's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
There is no consistency in the process they use for averages, Janowski got his average reduced because he hadn’t rode here for a few years his assessed average was an 8.00 he’s been on a downward spiral for the last couple of years, Birmingham sign Lindgren who’s a gp rider which the rules state comes in on an 8.00 Lindgren is a far better rider. The two Birmingham lads how did they pluck 7.50 averages for the pair of them? Milik last time he rode here averaged 5.67 I think he’s not two points better than that average as he proved when he rode here he was shocking. Robert Lambert came back for Belle Vue maybe a couple of years ago on his old 7.61 average so you’re saying Milik and Pawlicki are the same standard as Lambert? As I was saying absolutely zero consistency in the way they got to the averages they did. Every man and his dog knew the two Birmingham lads averages were stupid and so it’s been proved. -
Poole Pirates Vs Glasgow Tigers 31/7/24
bloom89 replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Yeah his scoring does seem to have dipped slightly. Maybe he’s trying to drop his average for next season so he doesn’t end up on the not wanted list like abblitt, kemp, rowe…. -

Especially now foord seems to be improving week on week and picking up good points, can’t see anyone getting the better of Poole over two legs. -
Thanks, that looks like the best bet assuming Rowe wants more meetings. Pijper knows the track so I’m sure he could match what Celina was scoring at the very least and Rowe would score decent especially riding at number 2, better than relying on guests imo.
