So we have two New Zealanders in the team next season BWD at no 1 and also 21 year old George Congreve who is making his British speedway debut, who I assume will come in on a 4? I'd have preferred to have had Archie at reserve kind of means the meetings he had last season are a bit pointless now if he has to go back to the NDL and do a handful of meetings but maybe there was some kind of deal the only way we were getting BWD was if we brought the other lad over as well who knows. Not sure why they've dropped the RS in the Championship surely you keep it in our league and the natural progression see's you move up to the top league but this is British speedway nothing surprises you! Does anyone know how many points we have for our final rider?

Now that we know Kent aren't running next season I'd be straight on the phone to Batchelor scored very well in the Championship and he doesn't ride abroad so no problems for availability on Sundays.

Would like to see Richie Worrall back since he left us he's just seemed to move around clubs every season. I think he's on a good average he can improve on and he's a good gater which helps at brough.

Hope I'm wrong but can't see anything other than a big home victory. -
22/08/21 1600 Newcastle v Kent (Champ)

I think that's a bit unfair and disrespectful of Bowtell personally, if you look at his career in the Championship he had last couple of months with Newcastle, a season with Lakeside and then had a large chunk of the season riding at 3 for Eastbourne and now this year with Plymouth. Even when he rode for us you could see he had a bit of something about him and his scores this season have been quite good and riding with Crump & Pedersen weekly should improve him. He's still only 23/24 I think so has plenty of time to improve further imo. And I for one hope he does. -

I think Bewley has to start as favourite for obvious reasons, but I think Ellis will be his main danger. -
Newcastle Diamonds vs Poole + Plymouth Sun 8 Aug 4pm

I personally thought Cook did ok, he's riding as third heatleader because of the way the team was built and shouldn't really be there. For his first time seeing the track he was always in the thick of the action. Shame to see Crump getting well beaten off riders he shouldn't, but personally I think he's been away from the sport for too long. -

If Redcar can get Jake Allen over that would be a very good top 5 imo, and with Jenkins at reserve if he can stay fit could have a good season I rate him.

Do you know if anyone took those speedway stars? -
What about Ellis Perks for the last spot? He was practicing over the weekend albeit on borrowed machinery. Obviously mustn't have any equipment left so could be a tricky one to sort out but options for Redcar do seem limited.

Surely BWD is nailed on for you guys? Not many places remaining in either league and he's stated on social media he is coming across. -
3 good heatleaders but a few question marks over the other 4 imo.

No Connor Bailey in the team now he’s staying in Australia.
-
Says in the speedway star that godfrey is going to be loyal to the riders he's signed and expects to start the campaign under the points limit.

Wasn't it Phil Morris who effectively ended David Mcallan's career?
-
Good news, hopefully if we get to see some speedway this year they can get a competitive team together.

William Lawson? He looked a real talent while riding for the Newcastle Gems had a few seasons in the old PL and then retired, and came back last year with Edinburgh. Someone might correct me if I'm wrong but think he might've retired when he spent the season at Berwick as #1 and is now a reserve. Although I think his machinery leaves a lot to be desired at times.
