I think your being slightly unfair on Kemp, yes he might not have kicked on as much as people thought he would but he's only what 18/19? Give him another couple of seasons if he's still floating around on a 3+ average then I think you'll have more of an argument.

Maybe the delay in announcing the last rider is because we're still waiting to see if George is indeed a 4.00 or a 2.00?

Yeah I knew that, just surprised Belle Vue aren't using him considering they signed him pre covid and are apparently loosing the Worralls & Bewley for next season.

I've no idea what the sort of teams are like in Sweden so can't really comment. But like most things I guess it probably comes down to whether it's worth it.

It's a difficult one imo they do make quite a lot of mistakes especially during the races they regularly get the riders wrong and neither corrects the others when this happens. But at the same time Pearson is always plugging speedway in this country especially the lower leagues.

That's very true, a lot of the promoters are very hush hush in releasing news yet come the start of the season expect fans to pay weekly. Like you say this is silly season when you can dream of riders who fit remaining points you have left etc but as always the people who matter us are always kept in the dark.

Haha no I haven't I take it he's been poor then? In fairness he is a very frustrating rider brilliant to watch at brough at times but also the complete opposite and pathetic some of his away performances.

Do we have enough points left to possibly tempt Ludvig back over or has the ship sailed on that one and he's happily settled back in Sweden.

Douglas is only 7.74 so would fit, but I might be putting 2+2 together and getting 5

Pretty strong start to team building, you'd imagine Gappmaier will be in there as well and you've got riders who are pretty good around Berwick which should be a good basis for winning the home meetings.

I'm the same I personally think BWD will be fine as no 1 he might take a few meetings to properly get the hang of brough but I think he'll be fine and he's a racer so quite looking forward to seeing him.

Exactly this! It worked so well last season with the likes of Flint, Palin and Kemp to a lesser extent surely you keep it in the Championship and as you say they progress to the top league mind baffling as always. It's like because the Premiership grand final was excellent racing they've just thought yeah everything is hunky dory as usual same again next year lads.
