  1. Fricke, masters and Douglas to start with and build from there you need riders who can ride Leicester.
  2. Injuries and the Darcy ward incident had a huge impact on him imo.
  3. It’s frankly ridiculous in this day and age where clubs are closing left right and Centre what do they do decide to remove a league unbelievable really but we shouldn’t at all be surprised by the clowns who run this sport.
  4. Could Kent, mildehall and say Oxford not join iow and create a mini nora league for example and effectively stick two fingers up at the bspl? Could the bspl actually do anything to stop this? We’ve seen in the past I think Scott Nicholls threaten to sue the bspa when they wouldn’t allow him to double down. The bspl don’t really do anything to help the current ndl clubs survive so why shouldn’t they run against the bspl. I fail to see how any promising rider or any rider for that matter would be able to climb the speedway ladder without some sort of ndl or a training league. Could say for example Glasgow, Edinburgh and Berwick form a Scottish side to also join the Nora league and hold a few home matches at each track during the season? Surely that would spread the cost.
  5. Shambles of a competition and a shambles of a line up.
  6. But whatever you paid those which wouldn’t be cheap would you get the extra fans in to cover those riders alone?
  7. Always wondered why should the championship continue to be the fall guys for the complete lack of ability the top league has in running its own show. It’s always been a strong league teams used to have 2/3 big hitters, why should this league be watered down because the top league peed the sky money on the gp stars of years gone by.
  8. So is it definitely a done deal that Birmingham are moving up to the premiership? If so I think it’s a crazy decision personally all they’ve done is complain they don’t get numbers through the gate as it is so they decide to move up a league where rider wages will be more expensive than in the championship… if they are banking on getting a few hundred fans from wolves then that’s such a risky strategy I hope it works out for them but I personally can’t see it ending well at all.
  9. You’d have to imagine Connor Bailey will be in serious contention for a return next season if the league gets weaker as is expected he’d be on a shade over with British reduction he’s had a decent season and he flies around Glasgow.
  10. This should be Connor Bailey’s to lose imo could see boughen easily finishing on the rostrum though.
  11. Oh right I was like 4 in 94 so no idea haha got taken to brough in 97 when it reopened and went until it closed. Did petri ride for reading in 97? I vaguely seem to remember, but can’t really recall much else of his later career.
  12. Correct sir, I guess that was too easy lol.
  13. Never getting this, well before my time haha.
  14. I’ve got no idea then haha. I want to win so I can throw a picture up though haha.
  15. It’s a huge if but if the panthers come to the tapes in 24 you’ve got to target Ryan Douglas surely he flies around the showground.
  16. Crazy if true! Complaining they don’t get enough people through the gate as it is yet move up a league and probably have higher costs for riders etc. They are probably gambling on getting a few wolves fans across maybe but that’s a very risky strategy imo.
  17. Way before my time to be honest, he was the one who sprang to mind.
