Yes and no for me he rode at 2 most of last season but scored well especially at home but you’ve got to remember this league has lost another few heat leaders so it’s slightly weaker again.

The only way for Cook to silence any doubts fans may have about him is to bang big points in especially at home and I can see him doing that all day, if he feels a bit aggrieved at thinking he’d be back at Workington he might have a point to prove. Cracking signing none the less for me.

Is it before Poland kicks off, only possibility is maybe try and get someone over for a month before Poland kicks off so some decent riders get track time like they done with Ellis a couple of seasons ago… otherwise can’t realistically see who they can get as decent heat leaders.

Take away the off track problems and Cook is and has been one of the best riders the league for years. The bloke is quality and bangs in points wherever he goes.
