  1. Think you will find nearly all the break ins have been on the speedway side and from what I've heard it was the water wagon which was not only used for watering it was used for packing the track so a very useful tool. And if the tractors have been burned then it will cost a good amount of money. As you don't get half good tractors for a few grand these days.
  2. See Birmingham have had there water wagon set on fire in early hours that's after 3 break ins not good so close to the season. Scum bags hope they can catch them but don't think so.
  3. Maybe bill can make alot more money selling the land instead of losing money running speedway. Having known the family for a long time, I say good luck to them which ever way they go.
  4. That's true but it doesn't matter any way as there will not be anyone willing to take a big gamble on running speedway there, this year or in the future IMO.
  5. Maybe something to do with the TV deal ?
  6. Was told that he would want bikes to ride this year as he sold all his equipment?
  7. Think also people on here who think they know what's going on with the sport but are so wrong on a lot thing's they post.
  8. Steve think he maybe talking about Newcastle and let's be honest if and it's a big if rob did pull the plug think no ONE could blame him with everything that's been thrown at him.
  9. Think the practice's are over two day's and split into morning and afternoon times. So you would not see all the riders altogether because of covid rules and means no public allowed
  10. Think you will find both have retired from racing so no chance of ether riding again.
  11. Was more thinking along the lines of units as there are a lot on there now and all are full.
  12. To me it's the way forward get the younger kids hooked on them and who knows where it could lead to hopefully it works for Edinburgh.
  13. It's a inflatable fence you blow up on grass ect and then you got a mini track for small bikes electric ect
  14. Ray there's so many people on here who don't go , but think they could do so much better?
  15. Hope I'm wrong but the land as got to be worth a lot more to build more on? than running a loss making speedway team. It would be a crying shame if that was to happen, But to be fair you could not blame the Hancock family.
  16. Without the clubhouse it doesn't make money so really can't see any new promoter going in not the way things are?
  17. Maybe Somerset will go down the same road as IOW where the costs will be less? And keep a good racing track open.
  18. All I'm saying is what will be needed for the whole team to perform better as a team, and give the fans what they want and that's exciting racing?
  19. If it's to grippy on the inside then Paco will struggle and a few others to. Like I've said Harris and riss will want grip on the outside from the off. That's fact.
  20. It says in the speedway star this week it will be some sort of open meeting.
  21. True but maybe they can't a practice day in , so a open meeting would give the riders a practice after being so long off racing , instead of going straight into a league meeting?
  22. Think that's because may 17th maybe a open meeting?
  23. Think it is about the 12th April but not sure
  24. Hope they get the track sorted with the team you got it will need a good bit of dirt on the outside that's for sure .
