  1. Hey you guys! Your club runs on a tight budget and is +1 in the table, with the majority of your home matches still to come. A club up the road a bit, with millions in the bank, has just crashed out of the KO Cup, so you're doing OK. Smile!
  2. Three guests and rider-replacement for Pirates? Not a good advertisement for speedway on TV, I'm thinking.
  3. Sorry, mate --- I was looking ahead to KL v Poole of Monday. Wrong thread. My mistake.
  4. Three guests and rider-replacement for Pirates? Not a good advertisement for speedway on TV, I'm thinking. (Sorry folks, this is on wrong thread -- I'm talking about Monday coming at King's Lynn)
  5. What price a return for Jye Etheridge at the lower end? Going well again at Berwick. He was very unlucky to lose the gig last season, and showed a lot of dignity in coming back (and doing so well) in the play-offs.
  6. Friends and Family? Another good promotion by a good promotion. Pity there are so many glass-half-empty punters on this Forum. As an aside, if they advertise a Friends with Benefits night, I'll be there!
  7. His family relocated from Perth to Victoria a couple of years back to get him more track time and are now emigrating to the UK to give him the best-possible chance to become a professional. The kid has patriality. Like Rory Schlein, Mitchell Davey, Ellis Perks, etc, etc, etc So he can ride in your National League. Good luck, lad!
  8. Still no final line-up? Second reserve? Dane for Andersen? Is Erik Riss fit to ride?
  9. Any news from Denmark on who will join NKI as their representatives at Glasgow?
  10. So who can give us the heads-up on the unfamiliar names? Glenn Moi? Austin Novratil? Out of their depth? Plus Sebastian Niedzwiedz, who I probably should know more about, but don't?
  11. Chris Holder was good in the international there last season, I'd put a couple of quid on him to qualify.
  12. I agree. A Pom for an Aussie just isn't the same -- but Berwick still have two Aussies in their side against just one for Newcastle. They win.
  13. I don't agree, nor would folk at Leicester. Your complaint about 38-point limit is based on under-performing riders, not the limit.
  14. It is now a month since I first suggested on here that Newcastle should sign Jedd List in place of Simon Lambert. Have they won a match since then?
  15. Is it correct, as I have been assured, that Glasgow's season ticket holders will be admitted free to the GP Qualifier?
  16. Given the service his family have given to speedway, it is very sad. Especially so if (as the opening post suggests) Glasgow-based snappers are involved, as their club has benefitted greatly from the family involvement for years.
  17. If he does, the Brit authorities can stop him racing overseas if his UK team have a fixture.
  18. Wolves have been missing Nick Morris all season, and they're doing OK, I would say. As for the Panthers people moaning about the signing of Spud, from where I am he has never let you down and is one of Peterborough's successes riding at reserve. Look elsewhere for your whipping boys.
  19. Getting another Aussie in while Jye's mending is good, so Matthew Wethers will do the job for you. Looks like a gotta-win situation for Berwick. All or nothing!
  20. The clashes between Luke Chessell and Danny Phillips on Friday and Sunday might be interesting. On Sunday, they might even make the difference between winning and losing........
  21. To repeat myself (April 22) your team should thank Simon Lambert for his efforts and move him on. Don't miss the chance of Jedd List while he's still unattached -- and he'd surely become you asset too? Not even Rob Godfrey could try to claim him for Scuthorpe after what he did.
  22. My Glasgow mate said Jedd List was belting around Berwick after their match there, looked fast and confident. He's well worth a punt. What Rob Godfrey did to him was despicable. If Newcastle took him on he could well do to Scunthorpe what Jye Etheridge did to Edinburgh.
