You biting again. You still going to travel down the A19 for your speedway Kenneth?
-
Spot on Steve. Same old story. People writing us off already. Give Granty a chance. We were always playing catch up due to the delay in declaring to run. I'm sure Rob has put together a decent enough team with who was available and wanted to ride at Newcastle. If it doesn't happen this coming season I'm sure we'll build towards the following season. If so called fans don't want to turn up let them watch through their keyboards. Get behind the new regime. Honestly people amaze me. Call yourself speedway SUPPORTERS!!!!!

Keep off the cheap lager. Ha ha ha
-
Exactly. We always have the choice to change things early on if it's not working out.
-
Wouldn't think it would be Buckhave. Wright and Mountain will be the reserve pairing and as already been mentioned on here Wrighty has still been grass tracking very competitively so its not as if he hasn't been on a bike at all.

Who do u think Ruff?
-
Well said. A few weeks ago it looked like we wouldn't have speedway. Give Rob a chance
-
Bjerre & Lindgren possibly. I think with the last two riders getting announced at the xmas do I've a feeling both will be there and with their connections to stay over in Newcastle. Just my guess.

That's why i said off topic. Numb nuts.

Off topic. Scott Nicholls splitting up from Sophie

Definitely. Everyone should still give Rob Grant all of their support. Even if the team he puts out isn't as strong as people want. It won't be for lack of trying, maybe just a case of circumstances. I.e. declaring to run late and maybe missing out on riders we may well have otherwise targeted. Who knows it still could be really strong. Always the option to strengthen up as the season progresses. I'd like to think Rob won't put up with riders underperforming and will not leave it too late to make changes as other promotions in the past have been guilty of. At the end of the day it's all Granty's money and underperforming riders normally means the team is struggling and as we know in the past it usually affects the attendances.

Tbf you can't blame people for pestering you regarding riders being signed, as to people who don't know you but just go off your messages in the past it would seem you are in the know. I think people have got the message now. Well summed up.

You know your stuff Rough.

Would only be able to widen on the inside as outside would interfere with greyhound track
-
Always helps when you own your own stadium and have big financial clout to make improvements on and off track. If it wasn't for your current owners Glasgow would have probably been lost to the sport so just count yourself lucky. Newcastle do very well considering they only have access to the stadium on race day.

I agree. I think Ostergaard is a very good signing and I'd be very surprised if he doesn't increase his average by a good bit. Disappointed he's not back at Newcastle but money talks.
-
Charles Wright? Adam Ellis? I also think Eric Riss will kick on again.
-
I'd imagine he'd still take an offer up this season if it comes along as he could be forgot about again the season after but who knows
-
Starke and Covatti signed for Kent
-
I think you'll find if he got a team place he'd be over like a shot
-
What makes you say that?
-
Gino Manzares is desperate to come back to England i think his average is around 4 something.
-
He deserves all the support in the world. Put his money in and going to give it his best shot. Hope it all works out for him and the supporters get behind him which I'm sure they will.
-
Got good people around him in George, Dave Tattum and Andrew Dalby. Definitely the best way to start. When Neil Machin is raving about Granty's ideas you've got to take notice. Sounds like exciting times ahead. Fingers crossed.
