Heat 7 would have been a good time to use one. Throw batchelor in there with Tate and instead of conceding a 5-1, it could have swung the other way and stopped redcars momentum. Using it as late on as they did, even though we did get a 5-1, you were still facing wright and king in 2 of the next 3 races.

A gripe of mine yesterday, why leave it so late to do a tac sub? Try and hit back right away and swing the meeting back, but no.

Hats off to Redcar, rode as a team today, unlike the comets. Back to the drawing board but Redcar is some bogey team for us. No excuses here, beaten by the better team. One positive to take from the day, it was a healthy looking crowd, one of the best this season I would think. Big 3 away matches coming up for the comets and need a big bounce back to maintain the play off push.
