  1. Watching him week in week out, he looks like the Craig cook of old. Making starts and even when he’s not out the gate he’s passing. Great to see. Also, unbeaten at home by an opponent in the last 2 matches.
  2. Yeah I’ve been having a look too and not really a lot to chose from. Dan Thompson has started the season well so I’d probably take him. For the home meeting, who would be eligible for a ride on r/r? All confusing with 2 on the same assessed average
  3. Put a fair bit of dirt down in the past 2 weeks and it hasn’t bedded in apparently. Seemed to be a soft spot more than a rut that was causing an issue coming out of turn 4
  4. Issue was ironed out after heat 5 and produced some terrific racing. Scunthorpe were absolutely atrocious. Howarth is not a number 1 don’t care what anybody says. Comets 1-7 all mucked in but Sam McGuirk had the bit between his teeth towards the end of the meeting. Him and Celina impressed towards the end. Zischke is an absolute steal on a 5 what a rider that lad is going to be. Cookie and Batch shutting the keyboard warriors up, again. Claus getting to grips with the track now too.
  5. It’s absolutely tragic ain’t it. Gate and go stick to the one line and you’ll win. About time they just ripped the tracks up, have multiple lines and see who comes out on top. Good to see lambert having a good night, hopefully he can break the duck
  6. All joking aside, like has already been said, we can’t be carrying a 1-5 rider and 2 reserves. I know this season is just about establishing ourselves back in the championship but I just don’t think Sam is quite ready for this league. You look at the form of Jack smith and think an opportunity has been missed there. Once his temp stint at Scunthorpe is over he’ll be snapped up rapid, probably by Glasgow. Onwards and upwards, can’t win them all, but how much time is going to be given before a change.
  7. Think on the stream last night I heard it was a hand injury
  8. Wow 2 passes in a whole meeting, absolutely mind blowing speedway. Berwick tactics from Redcar tonight
  9. Said this last year but nothing happened. Be no team changes at all this year just wait. Completely different track from a couple weeks back absolute snooze fest
  10. What a woke society it is now a days. Big whoop a couple of “naughty” words used. In the heat of the moment, just expressing their feelings, get on with it and get over yourself.
  11. Really enjoyable meeting today. Been to everyone down at Northside and have to say, that is the best racing to date. The extra dirt really helped passing massively. Could have went either way. Hope Danny King isn’t hurt badly after that unfortunate incident.
  12. Could have used different words considering what he done. Any promoter with half a brain cell, no matter how talented, shouldn’t touch him with a barge pole. If he was signed for my club, I’d go nowhere near no matter how much I love the sport.
  13. I hope the rumours are just rumours of who is going to replace him, that would be the final nail in Plymouths coffin
  14. I seen the “incident” if that’s what you want to call it between Ace & Boughen down at Workington last year. Nothing in it at all just Ace racing hard. From what I can remember it was a couple of things in the same race/re-run. Ace just taking care of his biggest threat in the race fair and square. Boughen didn’t like it but instead of backing out he carried on and ultimately, layed it down. Another one was Ace & Hagon. Ace forceful up the inside, hagon didn’t like it and threw the bike down. No contact at all but somehow Ace was excluded!!
  15. You’ve never got anything nice to say about anything or anyone. All for folk having opinions, but Jesus post something positive for once and stop being so miserable
  16. McGurk also riding Friday for the comets, away to Redcar. If you’re going to have anyone, Sam hagon would be my pick.
  17. Nice to see the absolute weapons that were kicking about on here in 2018 are still here now. Right decision to call it off today, the rain we’ve had through night the past 2 nights has been horrendous for a start. The wind today is bad, these bikes can be volatile at the best of times couldn’t imagine trying to keep some sort of control with a 70mph gust battering you. Plenty of free weekends over the course of the season to squeeze this one back in.
  18. Read in an article it’s a suspected broken thumb so guess we will have to wait and see. Not sure how reliable the article is really.
