Can’t stand listening to Tatum, most boring voice on TV. Nigel Pearson carried the comms for years. Much prefer bsn coverage, everything about it just blows Eurosport out the water.

Cookie was fantastic as always, but I think batch was the best comet today. Used all his experience to get his wins

Best fans in speedway (apart from comets of course) was having a good couple of conversations with some Glasgow fans on turn 3. Hope it’s not your only visit this year!

Result aside hope the travelling Glasgow fans enjoyed a good days racing. Best racing this season down at northside. Fantastic meeting, great crowd and fantastic result for the comets!

You’ll enjoy it, it’s a fantastic track and venue. It’s a racers track so even if you make the start you’re never safe. Hope you have a safe journey and enjoy your visit

Completely agree, apart from the odd battle there wasn’t really much entertainment. Not an excuse just a fact, Redcar faster out the gate and that’s what won it for them.

Edwards was brilliant today, best rider out there by a mile. Riss was also impressive his skills on a bike are brilliant. Comets just weren’t at the races today, getting out the start was winning you a race more than not. Well done to Redcar. Can’t win them all so the focus should now be getting it dialled in at home for the league. Track wasn’t its usual racey self today because of the weather. None stop drizzle all day didn’t help and crowd was low because of it. Can’t say it shouldn’t of been on (even though it shouldn’t of been) because it’ll be oh you’re a sore loser

Didn’t manage to get up but from the updates seemed like a good meeting. Glasgow fans always been up there as one of my favourites, and this post backs up my point. Enjoyed visits to Ashfield in the past too. Hopefully yous get a good load coming down next Saturday too

One thing I’ve learned about living here, the weather is always different to what’s forecast, it’s like we have our own micro climate
