Even if it wasn’t, the track was a disgrace all night. Wasted 40 minutes trying to rectify it and it was no better. Fella on the tractor didn’t look like he had a clue.

Put same rain down when I was on the night shift 20 miles south of the track, wet again when I’ve got up so right decision. Can’t imagine the track would have been in any condition to race.

I get the flat track will bring extra revenue in, but surely giving them a date this early into our new season is a bit of a brain fart. Everyone knows the weather at the start of the season is horrendous up here, so why not keep it a free weekend on the off chance?

2 point reserve and someone off the continent on a 5, the possibilities are endless. Vinnie will kick on next year and with a really solid top 5, they should be able to take care of business.

Considering everything you’ve “heard” so far, I think I’ll take all of this with a pinch of salt.

I wasn’t too excited about it when I first heard about the possibility. But, after thinking about it, we would have a potentially strong top 5 that will run any team close every week. Like someone has said, he had a brilliant relationship with Tate and they could pair up again to carry on that partnership.
