Meeting called off at start time. Hope this doesn't prevent Colts from getting in play offs
-
As has already been said its repeated at 12.00pm on Sunday.

Been hell of a lot of rain today, some very heavy showers, drove past Belle Vue about 1.00 and were huge puddles on the road. Sun is out now though for the moment, hopefully will start to dry out, they will be trying everything to get this meeting on.

The guy in the black jacket bit of an idiot pulling Schlein's arm on the throttle causing the bike to shoot forward.

Nearly banned? Why put that in the title, he was 12 in 2005! I think it was referring that basically at that age he wasn't allowed to race so couldn't progress in his speedway career. A big problem with the youth system in British speedway where as the likes of Denmark and Sweden have regular racing at young age on smaller bikes and why we don't have many decent riders coming through.

Yep Colts could do with a point from this one. Problem is Colts haven't ridden for weeks so may be bit rusty.

Scandinavian Gp 2011
Rob B replied to Ghostwalker's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Polish TV showed replay of the final and clearly shows the outside of the tapes went up before the inside at about 2:55.10 Holder made a big deal about this happening in one of the heats in Italy, this was a final should be an even bigger deal made of it! Can't be that hard to have two sensors on tapes that tell referee if tapes don't go up together, some simple electronics needed in SGP at least as referee has no idea looking in line with the tapes. -

Great final, but if you watch it again looks like tapes went up on outside first slightly giving Jonsson & Hampel the advantage. -
Don't agree you got a fare result after 20 heats. Let's say a rider for example Morley wins his first 4 rides easily, best rider by far and then is winning his last ride and has engine failure on last lap, does that make it a fare result as he was best rider by far, with current format gets another chance to prove is best rider.

British Grand Prix 2012
Rob B replied to willstaxi's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
There was no other choice, either that date or no Cardiff next year. The Stadium is only available in June/July/August due to football & rugby union, but next year the olympics are using it in July & start of August, can't be used in June as pitch will be being prepared so is perfect for Olympics. -
Neil Middleditch
Rob B replied to Daniel Smith's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
From what they showed last night it seemed to be Phil Morris doing the team managing on the night rather then Middlo. He was talking to riders before they went out, patting them on the back and doing the team meeting before heat 21. -
LOL this shows how silly you really are Suggest you watch this again : http://www.itv.com/central-west/dudley-speedway14929/

No offence to Ken but he is getting quite old now, maybe bit confused. Most of the time they try and have racing finished by 10pm as goodwill to local residents but the official curfew set by the council is 10.30 and has been for 20+ years. As for why didn't they carry on till exactly 10.30, Dudley had no riders in heat 13 what was the point doing more 2 rider races and annoying local residents more. Peter Clark

Curfew is 10.30 at Belle Vue.
-
Currently sunny, just partly cloudy, no problems at all.
-
Nice day up in Manchester today, don't forget after the moaning last time, all Wednesday meetings at Belle Vue start at 8.00pm due to greyhounds not finishing till 6.30.

I didn't say better, I said 2 of the best, I did say their average are higher then those 4 which is fact. -

Was just about to post why on earth are Kyle Howarth and Jason Garrity not in this team, they are two of the best under 19 riders, higher averages then all those 4!
