I agree with most of what you say, difference is though current track runs once a week (if that), new track they are wanting to run 7 days a week training academy, residents might have a problem with that. Hopefully there will be some some sort of compromise on times.

You are right, Chris Morton did say at a fans meeting there wasn't enough room for full size pitch in centre. Maybe things have changed? I hope they have not compromised the track shape to fit it in as the track shape was designed first and everything else was designed around it.

In the programme Ole Olsen says reason is due to facilities don't meet BSI requirements anymore. I don't believe this, you got places like Terenzano that have lot worst facilities and only get couple of thousand there. I think there is some politics going on, for some reason Vojens doesn't have a league team any more either. You now have a purpose built speedway stadium now that is going to go to waste not being used.

Yep reckon we have been to Vojens about 10 times at different times of year and always rains at some point over the weekend!

Last year we got free tickets from competition, they were high up and just moved after couple of heats. This year need to get some for group of 6 of us, will get cheapest and try to move but not as easy with 6 of us.

My first visit to Berwick as on holiday up here, I always say you can't judge a track by 1 meeting as all tracks have good meetings and bad meetings but if that was a cracking meeting I'd hate to see a poor one, was bored most of the meeting, just two decent races both involving Alden I think, majority of the races were strung out. Hope any newcomers enjoyed it, my little boy loved the bouncy caslte & face painting. Big positive was 15 heats completed before 9.00.

Confirmed Colts not running in 2012, on hold for a season till new stadium ready. Not surprised really, last year they expected new stadium to be ready sometime this season, can't afford to carry on paying huge rent to GRA for small crowds plus fitting in fixtures on limited days a problem too.

Well don to Scunfield on going through to the final but very well done to the Colts only going out by 4 points without Mckinna & Bekker having to use the ridiculous 3.00 guest rule and getting 3+1 for the pair of them.

Colts got big problems, Mckinna broken collar bone R/R for him, still no Bekker but only allowed 3.00 guest even though he has 6.50 ave. Doubt on Garrity too as he had heavy crash at Leicester.

I'm sure they still managed to gouge some holes in it. Hopefully with this decent weather last few days they been able to repair it. Like others said with this baking sun hard to get the moisture in but sun should be down by 7.00 so should be ok then hopefully. Hopefully Colts can get a decent lead to take to Sheffield. First year for the Colts in National League and make the playoffs first time but also there hasn't been any changes to the team, same 1-7 that started the season!

If they get HD feed from all tracks why can't they show the racing in HD and just have the studio bits downgraded to SD?
