  1. Belle Vue Speedway featured in Elbow's latest music video https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=nghmOMdL4fM&list=UUmOFHvCruXt5NJmxS8HPoaA
  2. Think it will be after 9.00, so as long as they get on with it, should be ok
  3. The whole problem is that clubs don't rearrange meetings quickly when one is rained off, they just stick it in the end of the season then there is a mad panic to fit them in. In Sweden pretty sure they have to rearrange them within 2 weeks. We should do something similar maybe within a month. Belle Vue struggled to fit meeting a in and had to run 2 double headers yet we had weeks and weeks earlier in the season without meetings.
  4. Don't think they are showing the heats, think just Nigel Pearson at track providing reports. Don't understand why sky not showing it though seeing as it was originally scheduled for final to be on tonight.
  5. No chance it will be on tonight with the amount of rain coming later. Tomorrow looks bit better but depends how track copes with today's rain
  6. We did this sky tickets offer at swindon few months ago through the season ticket entrance, took ages to get in with one guy looking through pages of names
  7. Not tarring everyone with the same brush but there is a small minority at Cradley who like to cause trouble at away meetings. It's happened at several tracks now either causing trouble directly or goading riders into doing stuff.
  8. Already a thread in the correct area : http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=75587
  9. But few weeks ago Tai was saying in press he thinks all Elite League tracks should ride on Mondays!
  10. Wonder if Rory Schlien and Havelock will bump into each other tonight?
  11. That is completely different both meetings run at same time with heats slightly staggered, one heat at one track while they are getting ready for next. Last week at Belle Vue riders were on track dead on 7.00 for heat 1, that's not going to happen tonight with sky not starting from broadcasting toll 7.00. Regarding guests, If Coventry were near bottom of the league I could maybe just understand it although still farcical, but with them being in playoffs too is just ridiculous first of all lending their top 2 riders to a playoff opponent so they can finish top not to mention the chance of them getting injured!
  12. Correct but will be 10.30 when it finishes as that's the curfew, if it finishes prematurely before then you sky have got involved Haha you don't want to have Watt guesting when Poole are involved
  13. If they were showing just one meeting it would be finishing at 9.00
  14. Sky schedule for monday has it finishing at 10.00 LOL
  15. Curfew is 10.30 and double header on Monday finished dead on 10.30 including some problems with tapes. My concern is the delays caused by sky with interviews and adverts. When this was announced couple of weeks ago it looked like the Coventry meeting would be more important to decide finishing place, I suspect now the Kings Lynn meeting will be moved first,
  16. This double header now being shown on sky! Will be interesting how they going to complete it as on Monday it finished dead on 10.30 the curfew and that was without interviews & adverts etc! 17. No power cut in the stadium, we were puzzled in the stadium why there was long delay between heats 13 & 14, think it was a transmission/satellite issue
  18. That's what the fans who went to Gelsenkirchen thought too...
  19. So the fact the GP is been cancelled and being moved is not a disaster? Yes they have had rain but the problem is the track was only laid a few weeks ago without inadequate drainage, no where enough time. BSI should have moved it to Daugvapils a couple of months ago when it was obvious then there was going to be problems.
  20. This GP has been a disaster from the start, surprised BSI let it get to this stage, up to last week the place was still a building site with no floodlights etc. If tomorrow does go ahead the track is bound to be soft and cut up, with it being narrow and square bends can see it being a nightmare
  21. Not surprised. The rain from yesterday would have filled the drains on centre green so no where for any rain to go today but stay on the inside of the track. Just got back to reddish and it's still pouring down, and sky is black, definitely right decision to call it off
  22. Sunny spells, very windy with occasional short heavy shower
  23. Belle Vue were only strong at home when we were riding against all the teams in bottom half of the league. Coventry win no problem tomorrow.
