  1. Tate now announced about the injury to his backside, few knew of this but kept it quiet. I gather it was an awful situation for those on track with mechanics having to dismantle the bike that had penetrated him with great care and guidance from medics due to other injuries to his back etc .
  2. Belle Vue Speedway Trust Announcement. Following the events of Monday evening, the Trust has been in discussion with the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund and has agreed to provide Tate's mother with the air fare to travel to the UK, from Australia, to be with her son. The Trust will also contribute to any additional welfare that is required during her stay, over and above that which the SRBF will provide. Whilst it is too early to be precise, the Trust intends to provide further assistance to Tate during his period of rehabilitation, be it in the UK, or back in Australia. All this would not be possible without the tremendous support we receive week in week out from the Supporters of Belle Vue and the unfailing efforts of David Burroughs and his team from the BVSSC. A huge thank you to you all. Philip Gunning Chair of Trustees. The trust money comes from fans doing 50/50 draws, interval ball game etc.
  3. Can’t believe the British Speedway Facebook posted several close up graphic photos of the crash, after 40+ comments criticising they took it down finally.
  4. Meeting now called off, thoughts with Tate
  5. Bad crash for Ziscke taken off by Rew. fast response ambulance car been called to track and driven onto track along with onsite ambulance
  6. Belle Vue won all 4 league meetings against Ipswich last year then look what happened in playoffs
  7. Confirmed Brady Kurtz is riding.
  8. Rybnik rode yesterday and today, Kurtz rode in both.
  9. Still well above points limit so that makes no difference
  10. He has also signed for Pila in Poland
  11. Heard it was a possibility but didn’t expect it for Monday but with new averages explains it Nothing against Mountain but Tate is great prospect and although he will probably struggle away he should be better round Belle Vue.
  12. It was a mandatory condition set by Discovery to host it, before committing to it I would have presumed they had some financial backing but it seems not.
  13. That’s because Poole only see a race like that once a season we see it every meeting
  14. That what you get when Bewley gets angry, what a ride.
  15. More passes in 3 heats then there was in 15 heats at Sheffield last week
  16. Can’t class football as 90 minutes of entertainment either. How much of that is the ball actually in play, and even when it is how much is being passed around by defenders etc not entertaining
  17. Before all the remarks later about where is the crowd, we know, pre sales are half of a normal crowd. Being on TV with rider replacement for number 1 and poor recent results don’t help. As for on track tonight it’s hard to predict, if the other top 4 for Belle Vue perform as they can then they can cover the R/R, but Lidsey hasn’t been great this year and Blodorn is inconsistent. Leicester have a strong team on paper and all the top 6 can ride NSS well but again few of them are on poor form recently. Been very hot day today, loads of water will have been dumped on track which will mean it will start wet. Racing hasn’t been as good this year, the material seems to be looser, riders complaining they getting filled in more and the material doesn’t seem to be binding on the outside line. they had some decent weather recently after very wet spring so hopefully been able to do something about it .
  18. Jason Edwards guests for Sam Hagon
  19. Belle Vue ‘ATPI’ Aces: Brady Kurtz R/R 8.87, Norick Blodorn 5.40, Jaimon Lidsey 7.82, Ben cook 6.60, Dan Bewley (C) 8.26, Connor mountain 4.62, Connor Bailey RS; TM: Mark Lemon Leicester ‘Watling JCB’ Lions: Max Fricke (C) 8.32, Richard Lawson 6.76, Sam Masters 6.61, Luke Becker 6.30, Ryan Douglas 7.58, Craig Cook 5.03, Sam Hagon RS; TM: Stewart Dickson Pre sale tickets are some of the worst I’ve seen for Premiership Aces meeting, with it being on TV.
  20. He hasn't got a ban, try reading it again.
  21. Zmarzlik has great talent but all this talk of greatest of all time etc is rubbish. Compare to the likes of Rickardsson, Crump etc when they had constant opposition against each other plus like of Pedersen, Hancock, Adams, Gollob etc completely different.
  22. You won't be getting anywhere near there, there is 3000 seat grandstand being built there plus that will be a standing area.
  23. He missed ONE meeting for Belle Vue. After probably fooshily riding in the GP qualifier with damaged damaged ligaments he then ended up in hospital the next day, ever since he hasn’t ridden in Sweden; Poland or UK since. I think the SCB would have said something trying to ride with this on : https://x.com/theaces/status/1797225908480163937?s=46&t=dIBO1b0Z20UuRPqs9f-4pg Today was first meeting back since 25 May, I’m 99.9% sure he will be at Sheffield on Thursday.
  24. Thats Swaffham which is between Kings Lynn and Norwich As for the 30 miles how would you explain Wolverhampton and Birmingham, 12 miles between them. Belle Vue and Buxton was less then 30 too.
