Absolutely. KK had couple of bad meetings but quite often scored double figures. Zagar has had lot of poor meetings and quite often doesn't score double figures.

Was you there? If you were you would have seen that although Nielsen had scored 2 at that point he wasn't riding too bad as winning Heat 12 proved! It was a close call and not an obvious one

First metal work for grandstand went up yesterday : http://bellevueaces.co/newsitem.aspx?id=1380 -
A disappointing result in the the end, before the meeting would have been very happy with that result and predicted we would just get a point, but with Zagar scoring a disgraceful 2 again should have been a comfortable away victory.

And we were weakened too having Richie Worrall in only scoring 2 points! Two engine failures in heat 12 & 13 cost us the win. -

Nah going to be fine most of the day, small chance of shower late afternoon/early evening -
Yes this new points system is ridiculous. I liked the old bonus point for winning on aggregate, That made home teams need to win by as many as possible and away teams wanting to keep it close even if 20 points down, always something to ride for.

First of all was the stand at Newport actually ever finished? Everytime I went it still looked like a building site. We are talking a bit more professional here then a few concrete steps with some seats bolted on them with a dark and dingy bar and toilets underneath. They haven't updated for about 2 weeks but latest photos here : http://www.bellevueaces.co/newsitem.aspx?id=1338 https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.800845563322698.1073741831.129552893785305&type=3

I've read they've started laying track and making it wider, any photos yet? Are they bringing inside line in?

I presume you have only seen the 3D computer generated photos? There are detailed designs available here : http://www.publicaccess.manchester.gov.uk/associateddocs/MCCList1.aspx?106133%2FFO%2F2014%2FN2 The track was the first thing to be designed by Chris Morton, it was the most important thing, Everything else was designed to fit around it. In fact when the plans had to be changed earlier this year due to a dispute over land the track stayed the same but they have had to remove terracing from the apex of the bends to still fit it in. He has never said it will be close to Hyde Road, that would be too difficult to do. There are elements from Hyde Road like the width and the straights will have a slight kink in them like Hyde Road did. It will more like a wider Bydgoszcz.

Good news about both teams running, but running on alternative weeks is going to be a pain, if a meeting gets rained off that team won't race for 4 weeks and then rearranging it will be tough. -
2 meetings I heard
