  1. All depends on Bridger really, if he has a good night it will be close. Jonson will fly round.
  2. Max Fricke riding in U21 World Cup semi final, Mark Lemon there with him. Kennett riding for Rye House Belle Vue Rentruck Aces Matej Žagar; Max Fricke R/R; Scott Nicholls ©; Richie Worrall; Craig Cook; Steve Worrall; Joe Jacobs Team Manager: Chris Morton Lakeside Vortex Hammers Andreas Jonsson ©; Edward Kennett R/R; Richard Lawson; Lewis Kerr; Kim Nilsson; Lewis Bridger; Robert Mear Team Manager: Kelvin Tatum Hope to see plenty of Lakeside fans coming up, very rare for you to get a Saturday to travel up.
  3. £1 booking fee is cheap compared to others, ticketing agent for Manchester Storm and Coventry Blaze ice hockey teams charge a 10% booking fee But I think this should be knocked off admission price so make it £16 + £1 to encourage people
  4. Heat 4 from yesterday, Steve Worrall off 15m http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.30574 This was a good race but there were better ones!
  5. For Gods sake you haven't a clue! That was not a big queue, it took at the most a couple of minutes to get through! This was THE queue, for the ticket office, the turnstiles are at other end of the building behind the photo. http://tinyurl.com/httj7xu
  6. I agree, they should make it you can only pick a seat upto say 30-45 mins before start time and then after then seat are just allocated. This is the 21st century, not wooden benches, Nobody is forcing you to, the option is there to buy on the day,
  7. It's not the turnstiles at all, they are fine scan your ticket and walk in. It's the ticket office that is slow, people buying tickets in advance will reduce the queues at ticket office.
  8. The stewards work for a third party security firm they are all new and getting use to it too
  9. No bad view anywhere as the terracing is well stepped and close to the track, depends if you want to stand or sit, although facilities are better in grandstand if you bothered about that. Yes you can pay by card. Official car parks are £3 but there is plenty of free parking about too
  10. They not been practising regularly, there was only couple of practise sessions before the first meeting to make sure track was ok and not all riders were at them so they had very limited track time. With a 12.00 start time and a warm sunny day I suspect the track will be dry and dusty so anything they learnt from Swindon meeting will be useless.
  11. Would guess they will book Lindgren for Kasprzak which will strengthen them
  12. It was no where near this bad, yet few of these riders refused to ride it.
  13. Not alphabetical otherwise Ellis and Kurtz wouldn't be last 2. But Poole never put them in riding order. On Belle Vue website Belle Vue team is in riding order but looks like Poole team just been copied.
  14. That is first bend terrace, holds 1000. Good view from there : http://tinyurl.com/hhngryu http://tinyurl.com/hud8dsm
  15. West terracing tickets will be directed round to the south side and will work there.
  16. They not opening first bend tonight, just home straight grandstand and back straight terracing. There was lot of rain during the night but this morning was sunny and breezy but since 12.00 we been having some heavy rain and practice been cancelled I been told. Looks like rain showers should have passed by 4.00pm, if that's correct we should be fine.
  17. Correct, Steve has always had the higher average even though he started at reserve as he was part of the draft. Once we ride one more home meeting they will swap round.
  18. No we have 4 to be rearranged yet.
  19. Martin Dugard was there, why couldn't he do it? Good meeting but easier win for the Colts then I expected. Some great races involving Williamson/Shuttleworth and knight.
  20. Technically it wasn't opening night, opening night had 6000 there, last night was an off night Wednesday night and after all the problems recently you can understand some people being dubious and not turning up until sure track problems are sorted (which they are). As was mentioned before meeting the track is being kept slick and hard to start off with so it beds down, it was only completely dug up and reload couple of weeks ago. No problems with it last night so they will start to build up the dirt now. The centre green man isn't new, he did last season too.
  21. Yep about 6000, 1842 grandstand, 3000 backstraight, 900 1st bend and few hundred on 3rd/4th bend if required. Extra 3000 seats going on 3rd/4th bend for World Cup.
  22. The grandstand holds 1842 and was no where near full, I suspect you were sat in blocks C or D. http://tinyurl.com/j6tauu7 Back straight holds 3000, I would say you're right about assessment of quarter full so that would be 750.
