  1. Yep about 6000, 1842 grandstand, 3000 backstraight, 900 1st bend and few hundred on 3rd/4th bend if required. Extra 3000 seats going on 3rd/4th bend for World Cup.
  2. The grandstand holds 1842 and was no where near full, I suspect you were sat in blocks C or D. http://tinyurl.com/j6tauu7 Back straight holds 3000, I would say you're right about assessment of quarter full so that would be 750.
  3. About 1500-2000 I'd say. Heatleaders let us down badly tonight, Zagar and Nicholls were poor, Cook started off well then went rapidly downhill too. Steve Worrall was very inconsistent. Doyle probably would have scored twice the amount then Harris did. First 5 heats were processional but then racing got better as some dirt generated. Track still very slick as it beds in, needs more dirt on the outside as that is a very long way round, will get better. Not that many, grandstand was half full so that was 900 and would say about 600-800 or so on back straight and about 100 on first bend.
  4. Clean Cut Sports do Belle Vue TV, suspect there will be a race on SpeedwayGB website in next few days.
  5. There was light rain over night but that finished about 10.00am, been no rain since and no more expected. I think they will have to be watering it this afternoon as quite warm. I expect the track to still be quite hard and slick as they wanting it to bed in properly first before putting too much dirt on.
  6. Over 800 seats booked in advance. Last night there was 1650 seats available, currently now there is 1040 seats available. They did say last week if grandstand does sell out they would open East stand (first bend), so nobody is going to be turned away.
  7. His whole face looked weird like he had Botox or something like that.
  8. Suzi Perry will be involved at Cardiff and World Cup at Belle Vue.
  9. They being made by the same company that makes covers for Wimbledon.
  10. Stock cars are far louder, I can hear them clearly at my house few miles away. Nothing will be done though, only have to do a noise test when applying for planning permission for new venue.
  11. Eh? The problem with start time tomorrow is that's the time is going to rain! If it had been an evening meeting tomorrow wouldn't have been a problem, but we can't as stock cars have had bank holidays for years so they have priority. We get our new stadium thought we would get away from the problems of stock cars and they still causing us problems!
  12. Suzi Perry will be involved at Cardiff and World Cup race off/final at Belle Vue.
  13. That's because she not just your usual presenter, she been a speedway fan all her life, writing in Belle Vue programme since 13 years old and did speedway reports on local radio as a teenager. Was the centre green presenter at Belle Vue last few years until her work at BT Sport work was too busy.

  15. Belle Vue now launch Print Tickets@Home. I advise people to do this as I expect the ticket office to be extremely busy on Monday. http://bellevueaces.co/newsitem.aspx?id=1692
  16. Not really, just means it will be the opening meeting dependent how the weather is over the weekend. Will be a huge crowd.
  17. Not sure why you comparing the Colts, Colt is tomorrow night. Aces v Kings Lynn on Monday lunchtime and I expect a very large crowd of 3000-4000 probably if the weather is ok.
  18. Sod's law nice and sunny evening in Manchester and tonight could have gone ahead in the end after successful practise this afternoon.
  19. Colts v Cradley rearranged for Saturday 7 May 7.30
  20. Saturday : http://tinyurl.com/gmb5dxq Tuesday : http://tinyurl.com/j6u2m95 Thursday: http://tinyurl.com/hmjh8xa
  21. And Steve Worrall with higher average at reserve then Richie Worrall in main body, so tonight when it was r/r for Richie, Steve was the rider above!
  22. Wouldn't be a surprise firstly due to location but also they didn't have a ticket agent, you had to fill out a form on their website and then do a bank transfer!
