  1. Plenty of official parking off Kirkmanshulme Lane (£3) plus street parking and unofficial car parks at Showcase and Bingo. For food there is hotdogs, burgers, pies, pastys and chips. But if getting there early I recommend you go up to the Peter Craven Suite through glass doors and have brunch : https://bellevueaces.co/news/2018/8/22/bank-holiday-brunch
  2. Dan Bewley had a very bad crash at Workington tonight
  3. Nicholls passed riders in ONE race at Leicester, heat 13. He actually passed more riders at the NSS on Monday it's just that they passed him back again!
  4. Riss away averaging 4.57, Etheridge 2.73, he is doing what he was brought in to do, we didn't really need him to score any more tonight and he rode a lot better then his score suggests, so buzz off as no one is interested in you constant rubbish.
  5. Lambert can guest at home as you get the extra 5% at home
  6. Belle Vue ‘Rentruck’ Aces: Craig Cook, Steve Worrall, Dan Bewley, Rohan Tungate, Max Fricke (C), Mark Riss, Dimitri Berge; TM: Mark Lemon Leicester ‘Watling JCB’ Lions: Hans Andrsen (C), Ricky Wells, Charles Wright, Stuart Robson, Scott Nicholls, Connor Mountain, Josh Auty; TM: Simon Stead What happened to the Starke & Howe changes?
  7. We are 1 point ahead of Swindon now in points gained away vs home points lost
  8. Belle Vue win at Somerset! What a difference couple of days make and a decent track!
  9. Well done Leicester on winning the gating competition! Apart from heat 13 every other race could have been called after the 2nd bend.
  10. Bringing in Riss was the right decision but it should have been for Drozdz! Riss for away form and Etheridge for home form, now need to replace Drozdz in next couple of days.
  11. Yes I said all along it should have been him not Etheridge that was replaced. Hopefully tonight will be the final straw and he will be replaced before Monday.
  12. Yes we deserved a point as the score should have been 47-43, yes Tungate and Drozdz let us down but if the referee can’t do a simple thing like declare the result of 2 races correctly, a Kings Lynn fan (Bagpuss) and a neutral have both said they were declared wrong. The DVD should be sent to the SCB, the score won’t be amended now but there should be a statement about Tony Steele performance and should be removed from officiating.
  13. Tony Steele either blind as a bat or bent. Heat 1 Worrall beat Riss by at least a bike length and ref called it other way, the centre green presenter had to apologise as he already announced it as 5-1. Heat 15 Fricke passes Lambert on the line by half a bike and again Steele calls it wrong. Cost the Aces a point there.
  14. Although unlikely, BV wont be out of it, they have a lot of away meetings coming up with 2 at Swindon very important especially if Swindon drop any other home points.
  15. Lynn managed to fit Riss in exactly on the point limit, they had 6.10 available. So Rose and Kerr now been replaced by Palm Toft and Riss, so much stronger now.
  16. Completely different ball game now, Erik Riss flys round NSS and so does Palm Toft, at reserve could be unbeaten.
  17. Etheridge Championship average is inflated by his home form, his Championship away average is 3.09. Riss Championship away average is 4.53.
  18. The team riding could have been bit better but it wasn’t dreadful. Etheridge was fast first 2 laps but then started to slow, Fricke was looking for him but Thorsell was all over back of him. The track is so wide with racing lines it is harder to team ride to keep someone behind, if Fricke had slowed more good chance Thorsell could have had him.
  19. I think overall crowd was similar to last couple of years but there has been a big movement to where people are sitting, the fullest part of stadium now is top tier on 3rd & 4th bendw here the cheapest tickets are. Large portions of middle tier are now empty and looks like they weren't even selling tickets for 6 blocks in upper tier on 1st/2nd bend. Funny enough we bought the cheapest tickets last week in top rows of 3rd/4th bed, when we went to collect tickets we were given free upgrade to sit in middle tier back straight where all the British flags were, ticket sales there were obviously poor and they were desperate to fill the area for TV cameras.
  20. I thought the rule was only used if its an obvious case of a rider falling and staying down on purpose to get a rerun. That wasn't the case with Morris.
