A change to tomorrow’s line-up sees Chris Harris guest for the Belle Vue ‘Rentruck’ Aces in their Knock Out Cup grand final second leg at the National Speedway Stadium in place of Max Fricke. Belle Vue Speedway have today been advised by the SCB/BSPA Management Committee that Craig Cook will receive a Period of Inactivity for 7 days, as per Speedway Regulation 16.5.1 f. He will be eligible to return on Sunday 22nd October and his clubs are eligible to operate a facility in his absence. Belle Vue Speedway will therefore operate Rider Replacement at No.3. The SCB will issue a further statement on the matter on Monday October 16. The likes of Mellish, Woodhull, Bickley etc wont have engines any more powerful then the Lakeside team. It does take skill to ride fast. The problem is that most British young riders are brought up on small tracks and then struggle on the big fast tracks as we often see when they go to Poland.

Morris made the 2 minutes fine, the rule is you just have to be on the track, riding in the correct direction for racing to the tapes.

Lindgren leaned into Bjerre as Lindgren was locking up. Bjerre did nothing wrong, he didnt change his line, they were side by side (Bjerre was in front just going into bend before they touched).

Not completely but he did play a part, he locked up slightly, leaned over and that knocked Tungates right arm causing him to lose control. If it had been first bend it would have been all 4 back.

You obviously werent there. Lindgren caused the crash, desperation when Bjerre had got ahead. Its a good job the track is so safe, people are saying its the worst crash they have ever seen yet Lindgren, Bjerre & Cook all walked away. On another track the injuries would have been so much more severe as they avoided hard impact with fence as the track is so wide.
