So if it was 30 degrees they would only get 2 hours before the meeting to water the track? not sure I believe that. Last dog race was 1.59pm so what happens between then and 5.30pm then?
If that the case and no confirmation anywhere, that would be poor. Rain due to stop soon and then they would have 4 hours in 20 degree temperatures for it to dry and work on track.
It’s August, it’s school holidays maybe if your club actually promoted it, put some extra entertainment on, advertise, put some special offers on. No just have a damp squib in September instead with no Tv.
Thats why don't like these meetings, I know some people will say they qualified on merit but just 2 meetings. Always get some dodgy ones, like Kasprzak couple of years ago.

Did it rain during the Speedway of Nations in October last year? No
Has it rained during any FIM meeting at NSS? No.

Apparently the shale that is always in storage was moved during the winter and was contaminated with gravel. Also I suspect the high heat and humidity didn't help the track too.
Cardiff wasn't actually organised by Discovery Sport, it was organised by Paul Bellamy and co from BSI under new compnay name now of Sidetrack Ltd.
Aces certainly have got setup dialled in for these drier slicker conditions which provides great racing but they will have to sharpen their gating for play offs.
People saying huge home advantage, for years there has been no home advantage as away teams like riding the NSS so much.
If Ipswich come in playoffs it will be much closer.
