I wouldn't use Lidsey in heat 8, against Hume, Smith & Bailey is a waste. I'd use him in heat 5 against King & Riss or Heat 11 against Harris & Rew.

It was Belle Vue choice to have 1st leg first, it was announced before Ipswich were known to be opponents. Typically if they had chosen 2nd leg at home like usual, would have been fine at Ipswich tonight and Thursday looks fine in Manchester.

The heavy rain from this morning has now stopped, it was very heavy and prolonged. Looks like will be dry for an hour now then more rain around 2pm. Then dry for few hours but the concern now is the showers around 7pm are now more clustered together and intense, it’s changed from 50% chance to 80% chance.
