  1. Am surprised Prague was that low and that Daugavpils was that high.
  2. Yes you shouldn't be using Ticketmaster, the official seller is seetickets! http://www.seetickets.com/speedwaygp/pgrou...-5A9535F3DB79}&
  3. Most of the tickets have gone up £5. The cheapest tickets have gone up from £29 to £32.
  4. There is a minibus going down from Belle Vue, if anyone is interested there is a few spare seats. Email me at rbecking@yahoo.com or send me a PM.
  5. Sheffield, Manchester and Newcastle are just arena, the floor space is the size of an ice rink, so not much bigger then Brighton, definatly couldn't fit an Arena Essex size track in them. I ruled out GMEX as that isn't in the midlands, it would be big enough for a large track but then you wouldn't have anyone from down south travelling up. One in Brighton and one in Manchester would be ideal though.
  6. They originally said it was somewhere in the midlands though.
  7. It was Martin Dugard that was interviewed, he said the track would be twice the size of Brighton, about the same size track as Arena Essex. Only place I can think of is NEC that could fit something that large in it.
  8. OK so it was your first time and you enjoyed it, but as some of us have pointed out it has been a lot better in the past. Imagine if you had gone in the past?
  9. Have to say I was very dissappointed by the bonanza this year. And people seem to be voting with their feet now. That has to be the smallest attendance since it started. Lots of empty seats around us in the South balcony this year which is always full, despite a lot of posters around Brighton this year. The event is rapidly turning into the Duagrd & Kennett show. I know you don't nessercerly need top riders but it makes it a lot more interesting to have a couple in there. In the past there was always someone along the lines of Hancock, Loram, Karlsson in the field etc. Also not much was made of it being the 10th Bonanza. Whats happened to the flashing lights and and fireworks there use to be in the past. I know that it is a fun event and like the idea of the yellow and red cards in the programme, but sometimes Kevin Coombes is taking it far too far. What on earth was the need for the run off between Venegas and King when Venegas had a win and had also beat King in the heats. Why was there no reserves, ok Schwartz and Boxall weren't able to come and the programmed reserves replaced them but they must of know a couple of days before hand and could of got a couple of reserves in for when riders couldn't ride due to injuries and damaged bikes. For the last 9 years we've traveled a long way from Manchester, seriously considering not bothering next year.
  10. Fair enough, but don't compain that it's too expensive now when it's yourself thats making it expensive.
  11. It's yourself thats making it expensive. £60 tickets, get the cheapest ones. 2 nights at £120 a night just stay for one night at travel inn for £45.
  12. Don't know, but his online shop doesn't exist anymore and Devon Shirts seem to be doing the caps instead.
  13. Jet2 are quite big up here, they only fly from the North. Manchester, Leeds/Bradford, Newcastle and Edinburgh. We've used them to fly to Amsterdam from Manchester.
  14. Yeah forgot about that, it was in the programme last year, they said there would be some news on that this year but it went quiet.
  15. One thing I've found is that its so much harder the last couple of years to try and find a B & B in Brighton now for the Saturday night. Most say minimum 2 night stay at weekends and others put the price up by £30 a room on Saturdays making it over £90 a room in a dingy B & B. Like last year we are staying in the Travel Inn in Newhaven again and driving the 15 minute or so into Brighton.
  16. Lonigo is closest to Verona but Venice is not too far away either. Ryanair fly to both. We have just booked to go from Stansted to Venice Treviso for £55 each. We hire a car spend Friday in Venice then drive over to Verona which is our base for a couple of days.
  17. Don't know how you booked yours but the guy that booked ours for 10 people didn't get charged any booking fees.
  18. I've not seen a full lineup yet, with all the extra Americans invited this year will Schwartz and McConnell be there?
  19. Spoke to people who drove from Riga to Daugavpils and they said it was a terrible road. Getting the train is probably easier. We always fly to Ljubijana for Slovenia then drive to Krsko.
  20. Looks like Verona will be packed with Juventus fans then.
  21. Why start a new topic? Seeing as all the dates apart from Germany say confirmed. All of them are accessible apart from Latvia which is quite hard to get to apparently.
  22. Looks like a nice stadium to finish up at but can't see them getting many people there.
  23. No surprise really. Has Gollob definatly confirmed he is carrying on?
