  1. Not that simple, you have to pay a charge to change the name on the flight plus you have to pay the difference to what the price was when you booked it and the price now.
  2. Not sure if it has been mentioned anywhere but they announced at Belle Vue tonight there will be some Under 15's demo races at Cardiff.
  3. We ordered our tickets on Friday and they came on Saturday!
  4. I'm surprised, was pretty sure USA would make it through. They really could have done with Hamill instead of Werner. Can't see Russia doing much at Swindon.
  5. Russia 30, USA 27, Latvia 17, France 4 after heat 13. Looks like it's going to be close between Russia and USA for a place at Swindon.
  6. Not according to BSI : 2001 = 31,000 2002 = 40,000 2003 = 36,676 2004 - 35,000 They would get more there if they didn't show it on SKY live, the Swedes and Danes are not allowed to broadcast it live, they have to have a 2 hour delay.
  7. Crump choosing gate 2 was do or die really, if you made the gate you could cut across gate 1 like he did in the semi but if you didn't you got boxed in like Jason did. 11 points in this format is nothing, all it takes is Rickardsson not to make the final in one GP and Crump can take the lead.
  8. I said Pete, Andersen had an exclusion, an exclusion is counted as worst then a last place in the event of a tie.
  9. The draw is randomly done from the FIM headquarters. As for the semi's someone put them in one of the Swedish GP threads. Off the top of my head think it may be 1, 4, 6, 7 2, 3, 5, 8 Hans Andersen was 8th in the qualifying as he was exlucluded in his last heat which is worst then a last place.
  10. Not much use for this year but from October Ryanair are flying to Bydgoszcz along with Gdansk, Szczecin, Rzeszow. They already fly to Wroclaw. Will make flying to Poland a lot cheaper!
  11. If it's the same as the GP last week (presume it will be) there was a bus service from the centre of Eskilstuna (near train station) to the stadium every half hour from 16:00 and back 15 minutes afterwards. Think it was 17kroner each way.
  12. Slovenian GP draw : 1 9. Hans Andersen 2 8. Jaroslaw Hampel 3 12. Scott Nicholls 4 10. Bjarne Pedersen 5 11. Lee Richardson 6 16. Matej Zagar 7 1. Jason Crump 8 6. Tomasz Gollob 9 15. Tomasz Chrzanowski 10 3. Greg Hancock 11 4. Leigh Adams 12 2. Tony Rickardsson 13 13. Ryan Sullivan 14 14. Antonio Lindback 15 5. Nicki Pedersen 16 7. Andreas Jonsson TRACK RESERVES 17 17. Izak Santej 18 18. Denis Stojs
  13. Got back late last night, not seen it on TV yet but I thought that was one of the best GP's for quite a few years. There was passing in nearly every race. The crowd may not have been as big as Stockholm or Gothenburg but everyone was packed in like sardines so the atmosphere was brilliant. Congratulations to the Smederna club, that is a very nice stadium you built up in 4 years, grandstands on both straights, raised terracing on the first and second bends and grass banking on the third and fourth bends. Nice training track round the back too. Only downside was the car parking was a bit of a nightmare getting in and out of the narrow forrest lanes with hundreds of bicycles! Have to admit that we thought Crump had no chance in the final as he hadn't looked that fast and had the worst gate. When he did win the stadium went silent as most of the crowd was supporting Rickardsson or Nicki Pedersen (home rider). Apparently in the parade afterwards someone threw a bottle at Crump, luckly it just miss him and hit the BMW he was coming round in.
  14. Yeah don't worry just Shovlar showing that he doesn't know the rules anymore.
  15. Glad we are flying on Saturday morning rather then Friday like usual else we wouldn't of been happy!
  16. Jan Staechmann is the new Danish Team Manager.
  17. Qualifying days have gone out of the window now, BSI hand picks riders.
  18. I think if riders who were brought in by BSI this year don't automatically qualify this year then they should not be given another chance next year, bring new riders in with the other ones a chance to get back if they are riding well enough in 2007.
  19. First of all Rickardsson was very fast tonight and no one could touch him but that was only 1 GP out of 9, I remember last year when Adams won the first GP everyone was saying it was Adams year. All it takes is one bad semi final and it could be all over.
  20. The last few years the Polish GP tracks have been crap, very slick, nothing like they use to be a few years ago with loads of dirt on the outside that Gollob and others could blast round the outside.
  21. The one thing I don't like about this new points format is the big gap between riders in the final and riders who didn't make it through. Lindback got 16 for finishing 4th in the final, Pedersen got his 11 race points for coming 3rd in the semi. To win the championship you will have to make the final every time.
  22. I'm surprised by that, there's enough Swedes about who haven't got a GP place.
  23. Just rung Ticnet and they say we can't pickup tickets from the stadium so not very happy now, as we are flying into Nykoping and going straight to Eskilstuna they said the best place to pick up the tickets is from Biljett Byran in Norkopping on Dalsgattan. Can someone from Sweden tell us how to get there from Nykoping? In the future I don't think I'll bother booking on ticnet again if there is going to be this hassle.
  24. We stayed near Swindon last week, we stayed at the Travelodge at Chievley the M4/A34 junction about 20 miles from Blunsdon and it was £26 for a family room (All rooms are family rooms, double bed, sofa bed and pull out bed).
