  1. In view of the world wide credit crunch and growing demands for higher wages that are coming from our speedway riders, there is a real risk of financial instability in Polish speedway. It is quite possible that, if nothing is going to be done, then the 2010 season might have to be suspended. Having this in mind, we, the shareholders and chairmen of speedway clubs that make up the Polish Speedway ExtraLeague, have decided to take up rigorous steps to overcome the growing problem of financial crisis. The blue print of new regulations is being prepared to create a work market in 2010, adequate to the financial situation and financial capabilities of Polish ExtraLeague clubs. As a result there won't be enough openings for the average level riders. This in turn should lower the ever growing financial demands when it comes to contracting riders. We want to retain the high standard of our ExtraLeague , the standard our supporters over the recent years, have become accustomed to. Therefore we are determined to carry out our plan as we see no other alternative. Signed by - club chairmen and shareholders of the Polish Speedway ExtraLeague Ltd If this happens the GP riders will be running back here in a hurry.
  2. Yep same problem they couldn't refund to my credit card so have given them my maestro card and they said refund will be in the next couple of days.
  3. Had an email from seetickets today saying that have been struggling to refund to my card and I need to contact them, don't know why there would be a problem but will ring them tomorrow.
  4. Does this mean that Leigh Adams and Greg Hancock have confirmed they are continuing next year?
  5. That was funny the way he kept slipping it in.
  6. Anyone get the impression like me that Hancock was saying in his speech that he was thinking of retiring. If that was the case Nicholls wouldn't need wild card.
  7. Don't think it would have worked as it wasn't the top surface that was wet from rain it was whe whole base of the track that was wet from using wet shale to build it.
  8. I received a letter in the post today from Paul Bellamy giving details on how to receive a refund which will be paid by latest 11th November and also a form to claim free tickets for next year with a choice of Gothenburg, Copenhagen or Cardiff. Form needs to be returned to BSI by 14th November.
  9. I have 1 ticket for sale for the German GP, it is in block C2 in the centre of the back straight on row 3 (the front row) overlooking pits. Looking for £25 for it, send me a pm or email.
  10. Do they have different cameras for the Polish feed because there clearly was contact!
  11. Crump was about 3 quarters of a bike length ahead of Pedersen up the inside, Pedersen knew he was passed and leant on him and was on his way down even before they had got to the bend to try and get Crump excluded like he did earlier in the season. Gollob was about half a bike length behind on the inside of Crump and took his leg entering the bend. Grodzki has made a lot of made decisions in the past but got them all spot on tonight.
  12. Of course not, and I presume yours are nothing to do with your avatar either. Nicki has been getting away with that leaning on riders and falling off too much, that was the third time this year he has done it and the first time he has been excluded at last.
  13. Presume you don't watch it on Sky? After the fuss he was making in the sky studio that the only way Crump wouldn't win was if he had an engine failure, he jinxed him.
  14. At last a referee who didn't fall for Pedersen antics leaning on a rider and falling off if anyone tries to pass him up the inside. Don't know how he could compare that one with the Crump/Gollob one which was totally different. Don't know why Gollob had to do that, he had the final place in the bag, more like the Gollob of 1995 that. Unbelieveable that Crump had the engine failure with the win in the bag, Pedersen will be a lot more relieved now.
  15. Different rules, British rules are that you only have to be making your way towards the start when the 2 mins runs out, GP rules are that you have actually got to be at the gate and in your gate position when the 2 mins runs out. They showed 6 seconds left on the clock and he was still sat at the pits gate, was always obvious he wasn't going to make it and don't know why Tatum was making such a fuss about it.
  16. Wondered why he went for gate 4? He didn't have a choice, he had last pick!
  17. Sitting at those sort of tracks has always been quite expensive, most locals sit on the grass. But the pound is so weak at the moment making the exchange rate so bad and everything seem so expensive in Europe.
  18. People complain about the ruts at Cardiff but as long as riders aren't getting injured it makes the racing ten times better then these tracks.
  19. How many mentors is Scott Nicholls going to go through, last year he had Gary Havelock, earlier this year he has had Neil Middleditch and tonight he had Kelvin Tatum, don't know why he has them, don't do him any good.
  20. Yep Tokyo Melody was just before start of meeting, track staff marched out to Blazeaway and the Belle Vue team came out to Magnificent Seven on parade.
  21. Denmark were definatly the best team but they had some good luck on the night, few times when a rider fell the Danes were third or last and in the rerun won the race, don't down how Bjerre wasn't excluded when he lost control bringing Watt off.
