  1. When people, sorry, you , singular – thankfully - post on here, most people battle the will to read this forum – so much content from you, yet so much dross – you don’t even know about the subject matter you talk about – anyone can read updates sites Keep that in mind the next, and, just about every time you post.
  2. The irony of you asking anyone how old they are is hilarious you utter man child.. For one so bumptious. so dismissive of the opinions of so many your “knowledge” of the sport is quite pitiful.
  3. This is the same thought process you used to try and justify the, at the time, and more so with hindsight utterly hilarious idea that Lahti trumps Museilak you silly, silly man.
  4. The context around both points is completely different....nor did I compare each rider, simply posted the scores of both....
  5. Newman was at Poole only a few weeks back, at reserve - and scored 5 – in his previous visit, in the main body of the team BWD scored 6 +1.
  6. It was around about that part of the post I got bored and zoned out.
  7. It’s a hell of a selective and isolated screenshot to decide on the basis of 3 meetings that one rider will out score AN other. Why not stretch it back to 6, or even a different set of 3 fixtures? If the 3 fixtures prior are chosen (Wolves, Rye House and Somerset) the stunning addition of an additional 10!! Yes 10 points could have been added from said meetings (they sides are a bit better than those of the last 3 fixtures though!) A rider v rider argument is generally pointless and a little bit daft, but the whole notion of Lahti over Musielak feels like an attempt from said poster to create a narrative of Poole as favourites and thus they look daft if they don’t win - If you don’t believe that there must be at least 754 match threads over the course of the last 10 years you can read for validation of such a claim - Lahti will do very well to out score Musielak
  8. He has amassed a load of points, mainly from reserve by beating some dross riders quite a few times – you might want to read into your points a bit more before making them.
  9. Yes, home, Wimbourne Road – the track where on his previous meeting Musielak beat Lahti not once, but twice - in their two races this season. 32 of those points came from the reserve berth from Lahti 31 came against the sides who are bottom and second bottom of the league. Lahti is no longer a reserve and isn’t racing a side who are either bottom or second bottom of the league - he is racing a team who have won loads and loads and loads of meetings since the arrival of Musielak and his performances have been one of the drivers behind said results.
  10. it isn't an insult, it's an observation - I find you a dullard, your continual verbiage about how awful speedway and it's fans who attend are is like accidently stepping in dog sh*t on a pavement while out trying to enjoy a walk - hope that clears it up for you.
  11. Oh the article is excellent, a really good insightful read - a thought provoking look at the issues the sport currently faces. You though, are a dullard, and have no link to that article.
  12. Speedway just doesn’t seem to be for you, trolling on a speedway forum does though.
  13. This comes across as disingenuous hogwash On the basis of form and performances this season there aren't many who have seen the performances of Lahti and Museilak who would pick Lahti as a favourable option of the two.
  14. I can’t envisage Poole winning enough races to build up a lead of any more than 10 points.
  15. But by your own definition they aren’t really credible, that’s fair.
  16. So on that premise can you understand why no one would take your views over the Double Points rule seriously?
  17. I feel that part of the reason the wishes some fans have aren’t played out is they show little sign they would bend to change, even if it was the change they wished for. Not to push at a wound, but I doubt many people would alter or bend their business model in the hope they might attract fans who haven’t attended for 5 + years – I do understand why it gets to a stage where the sport might feel it’s time to cut such groups off and move in other directions. I am highly sceptical of the idea the removal of Play Offs and Double Points tactical riders puts 100 + fans into stadiums every week
  18. The vast majority of the riders mentioned have been cut out of Britain for a reason. The problem with a few of these riders is their current scheduled and the logistics of fitting them into our racing calendar – I doubt for instance sides like Glasgow or Newcastle could make these additions due to logistics involved, and the number of meetings the riders would miss if the clubs race nights stay the same (Saturday and Sunday) . There is then sides like Berwick, Workington and Scunthorpe who are rumoured to face issues as it is without the additional cost of having to bring more riders over from the continent - the travel costs involved – who is taking that burden? The club? Or the rider? If it is the club, it’s an additional cost, if it’s the rider they will expect more money, and if that money isn’t paid it won’t then be worth their while to come, thus the numbers issues remains, or clubs push the boat out even further to compete, and thus are going to face an even bigger loss to sign some of they riders. If these riders are signed to fill out a set night calendar in a top flight are they then simply taking up team places that should be reserved for British riders – a side like Poole signing someone the ilk of Joonas Davidson over even a rider at the stage of his career Paul Starke is at feels counterproductive and a step back to what was a problem issue – nor do I think that change would shift the attendance needle but would alter the cost element. Or, the alternative is sides moving their race calendar so team places can be found for riders like Vissing, Berge and Bukhave? If you move teams like Newcastle and Edinburgh to midweek to do that you would kill they tracks off very quickly. It does seem some feel the solution is to not only slit the throat of the sport to solve issues, but utterly bludgeon on it to the point of no return, while things are grim just now, it isn’t in the extreme position some wish for quite yet IMO. The final reason for many not being here is - some of them are crap.
  19. Oh a fair few care….much to the disappointment of some frequent this forum!
  20. It can be continued onto the current British Champion who does race here who has on more than one occasion commented on the state and ride-ability of British tracks. I don’t doubt for a second some Australian riders wish to ride in near perfect conditions but to assume the same doesn’t rule re British riders seems slightly deluded to be honest – just as I haven’t heard of the likes of Morris, Masters and Josh Grajczonek continually wish for meetings to be rained off. The main driver behind the drive to ban Australian riders appears to be because they are of the opinion British Speedway is a bit crap and some of the track aren’t that great – that opinion isn’t exclusive to Australian riders.
  21. The highest profile British rider has arguably made more derogatory comments about British Speedway than any Australian currently plying their trade here – should we ban all British riders?
