  1. I take it Scunthorpe have’nt got a match this week as I can’t see a preview on Scorpions or the Bears website
  2. I’m sure I’ve read the dates are set in stone and if the home team can’t race by the deadline date the away team receive the points
  3. was there tonight ,all incidents aside Poole were the better side and fully deserved there in at Scunthorpe ,will the Scottish weather interfere with the way the group will end up ?? ,Well done Pirates from a Scunny fan
  4. I’m a Scunny fan and by far he’s the most impressive rider at the Eddie Wright Raceway he’s a class act on and off the track
  5. I think they did that they were very poor with the exception of Josh Pickering
  6. What is he cut off date for the group stages ?? Edinburgh v Scunthorpe called off Sundays meeting at Scunthorpe hasn’t got a great weather forecast and one last point , what are Edinburghs alternative night as Scorpions v Poole is scheduled for next Friday thanks in advance
  7. I think a lot of Poole fans were expecting a big win , but fair play to the Scunny 7 riders for getting a draw away from home . But big credit to Rob Godfrey Scunthorpe promoter who has taken a massive gamble by agreeing to Poole away and Edinburgh away before a home tie in the playoffs . So a win away at Edinburgh tomorrow would be very nice before racing 2 matches at home . Good luck to the Scorpions and hope King Ryan stays injury free
  8. Can’t remember the last time Wimborne road had dirt on it ,ps can anyone from Poole tell me who picked the two sides in their group . Was it the riders or the promotion ?? Its a good job Tofty was off the gas tonight for Scunny otherwise it would have been a heavy defeat
  9. Poole and Oxford have both stated they will start with home fixtures on Wednesday so there definitely in two separate groups I predict Poole, Scunthorpe & Edinburgh Oxford ,Redcar & Glasgow will be the group matches
  10. Yup I’ll be there doing a 60 mile round trip if you don’t use it you lose as we found out at Hull Vikings a few yrs ago
  11. Team who finishes top chose there two opponents for there group , Other 3 teams in Group B , both groups teams ride home and away and the two group winners will ride the fianal over two legs to decide this season’s Championship Winners
  12. You have done nothing wrong and always do your best for British Speedway
  13. Stop been a bell end it’s obvious tests have been failed
  14. Apologies with regards Plymouth home fixtures , they will go into the 2nd batch of teams then and I’m sure they will have an alternative night to race like in the 2nd group . So still 8 home matches in 18 weeks is achievable
  15. The problem we all have ,is all teams have had 18 weeks from the first championship meeting to be completed in early May to this week . So 8 home and 8 away fixtures in the championship surely is achievable for all teams .The cut off date should not have been extended Plymouth , Scunthorpe,Glasgow and Redcar can ride any night at there tracks .Poole ,Oxford ,Edinburgh ,Birmingham and Berwick all have alternative nights they can race on so why has the Championship League not been completed is beyond me
  16. How the f@#k is Charles wright allowed in the re run
  17. I thought the topic was Scunny v Glasgow ,now been overtook by the Poole pussycats
  18. I agree 100% ,bumped into Chris at a service station and he’s fit enough to be doing Speedway
  19. Claus as an experienced rider was upset he was been done by a young upcoming rider in Nathan Ablitt and basically ploughed into Nathan , Claus was been treated to by medics in the pits for burns to his upper body after the meeting .I’ve lost all respect to him as a rider and it was a poor show by him .hopefully Nathan is okay and is fit to ride as he’s been a revelation since joining the Scorpions and is a breath of fresh air since joining.us
  20. Due to Glasgow’s well timed team change in bringing in The Pole , tonight will be Nathan Ablitts last meeting for Scunthorpe Scorpions and from August 28th he will be replaced by Tai Woffindon who will come in at No 7 for the Scorpions using his historical average from 2006 conference league campaign with the North Lincolnshire side apparently this is legal as it’s more then 10 yrs since he rode at the Eddie Right Raceway . This will now ramp up the pressure on Poole Pirates who are desperately trying to check is Bartosz Zmarzlik has ridden for Weymouth Wildcats in the Speedway Conference League . Speedway has gone Stupid
  21. I’m sure the team selection has to be ratified by the heirachy and approved , so to me it doesn’t look like it’s been sanctioned by whoever sanctions it BSPA , SCB or the ACU ? . So if replacements are needed it will be tough as 7 out of 9 sides ride on Friday night if injuries and rumours are correct it will be R/R
