Newcastle with nearly 13.5 pts for two team places aren’t going to use a rider on a two point average leaving over 11 pts for a number one as they won’t be competitive . They will build with an 8 pt rider and 3.5 pt for the reserve I expect -

Danny Phillips will be a great signing on a 2 pt average ,the way the side is set up he will have time to find his feet and with stevie W mentoring he will do just fine and an ex Scunny saint too -
Not a panthers fan but why was the sign Scott Nichols at all costs the order of the day . He has been an exceptional speedway rider in his time there’s mmo doubting that but on a high average and his age I can’t see Scott going for the small gaps or big blasts round the outside . He will ride sensible and he won’t maintain his starting average , this then gave the panthers lower averages to play with the other 6 riders . Can see Peterborough in the bottom half of the table and how fickle there fans are can see it been a long season for the promotion

Jake Knight for me but if Clegg Is on a 2 pt average then I would take him -
Anyone but Poole for me then I’ll be happy
-
Jake Allen will be fine he is a class act expect an improved average , I will
-
Pussy cats upset now playing to the same rules as every club
-
Ha ha ha ha that’s your plan A gone up in smoke , well done mr Godfrey that’s another you’ve got over Peterborough . It’s simple play by the same rules as the rest of the championship heard Lee Dicken and Jon Armstrong are available on proper averages
-
Carl Wilkinson last year I would have beat him on a bmx , he was shocking at Scunny and don’t see any improvement in him . As for Tero I liked him at Scunny always gave 100% andcsn see his average going up . The key to Newcastle is who do they get for the No 1 jacket

Yes it’s more central to the majority of the northern tracks so will be a bumper crowd weather permitting
-
Oh dear the pussy cat fans /promotion won’t be happy about loosing out on the Fours to Redcar . Good choice and as people have said Redcar is a fair race track . Ps I knew cos Rob Godfrey was guilty in the panthers fans eyes he would get them back ha ha as the old saying goes“ He who laughs last , laughs loudest“ get in Rob

If as in the speedway star rob is considering Alfie Bowtell does his average fit as I thought it was to high but I don’t know his reduction to his average , thoughts anyone? -
If George English lost money last year as reported I can’t see Alfie Bowtell back as I’m led to believe he’s southern based and he must be on mileage allowance as on that points average he can’t be making money . So a more local river should be used

What would Alfie Bowtell average be with reduction ,would that fit for the last spot if so I think it would be a good signing as he has visited all the tracks this season and would be better than a new 2 pt average rider -

Anyone know the exact amount of points left for the last rider please -
Barry Briggs One of the best riders I've seen as a 9 yr old and his best days behind him but he was a class act for the now defunct Hull Vikings in 1976 ,he was the ultimate professional and a true gent off the track . Great memories
-
I thought GP riders were not allowed to ride championship level ? Can someone confirm this
-
Lambert missed meetings due to Newcastle racing on a Sunday ,take that aside his is a class act in the championship

I would give David Wallinger a go , he's fairly local and was giving it a go when on track think with a little help from team mates he would surpass the 2 point average which is all that can be asked
