I'm sorry if I was wrong but great to see ,he's there every week trying his best and I'm pleased for him as a few near us on the 4 th bend have been calling for him to be axed what do they expect he's. 2 pt rider whose coming back after a serious crash and injuries from last season . Would love him to be amongst the pts for the rest of the season as it would give a great chance of silverware

If it's concussion it's a mandatory spell on the sidelines

Any team line ups for Thursday

I’m sure Glasgow will be invited into the top league to make it up to 8 teams as I can’t think who else would step up

Scorpions v Sheffield 27.07.2018 7.30pm
Tosh1218 replied to ScunnyDan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
When a side picks there race night the promoters should provisionally sit down and work the fixtures .At the beginning of the season Workington and Lakeside were predominantly a Saturday side ,so with Glasgow,Edinburgh and Scunthorpe Friday sides this move is a correct one as injuries plus riders continental fixtures guests are always going to weaken sides . One final thing as sides are chasing the top four how many sides would be willing to cancel there away fixture at Workington when they are without there top 3 of Bewley, klindt etc and a national league guest ruling on two I think , oh that will be Rob Godfrey in the interest of the sport allowed Workington to rearrange for another night ( some promoters aren't win at all costs) -
Think from next year all teams should be forced to track a young British reserve and 40 pts for the other 6 riders

The racing was top drawer as always ,track was hard to keep the dust down due to the heat and as for Glasgows following absolutely fantastic and loud.As for Glasgow Chris Harris did well but the Cookie Monster wild smash this league up also great banter between both sets of supporters and a proper meeting with a heat 15 decider -

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2018
Tosh1218 replied to IronScorpion's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
No I think you will find at the time of the original date Workington had 3 heat leaders missing due to various reasons and the Scunthorpe promotion agreed to a postponement so fans wouldn't see a false run meeting ,not many promoters would do this as they are win at all costs -
Scunthorpe Scorpions 2018

Gino is a top bloke his confidence is in bits , now is the time to back and support him as I’ve seen what he did earlier in the season. We will alway be carrying a two point rider but that is how the team was set up , I gave Gino a handshake at Peterborough in the pits and donated some money to him , he needs a kiss and cuddle not to be hounded I’m confident once our side is back up to strength with our own riders Ginos scores will improve . Fact speedway riders get paid by how many points they score and don’t go on track to score zero points . We’re still in with a chance of two trophies so yes everyone is entitled to there opinion but support whoever puts the Scorpions race jacket on please -
Hopefully you will take Rye House spot in the premiership next season then

Panthers v Scunthorpe 13th July 2018
Tosh1218 replied to wealdstone's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Yes that's what the panthers want to ride against them -
As speedway is in turmoil with fixtures etc in both leagues and rider availability plus the sad demise of Rye House I fear for clubs like Peterborough 1- track availability due to other events at the showground 2- when the track is available will riders be available 3- with them been successful so far this season the Panthers could possible have a league playoff semi final and final, a semi final and final in the knockout cup and in the league shield completion 4- So if this does happen will the showground be available for these fixtures ,as we all know the British weather could intervene at anytime for these and other fixtures and will this cause chaos to the Panthers charge

The Somerset away fixture is now postponed , so I doubt the next home fixture will take place . For the good of Speedway can someone give a statement . If it was riders with holding there services There would be repercussions so come on some one make a statement and let the league move forward for the benefit of every promoter, manager , rider and supporters

So guests again at Redcar away and Sunday at home v the Monarchs , Anyone clued on the conference league as a guest for Danny

Does anyone know how our walking wounded are and when there expected back Stevie - broken leg stefan - broken leg jason - battered and bruised danny - concussion and other injuries Testing times when were needing an unattached rider to make our quartet up for the championship 4's today two meetings one away and one away this week ,followed by 3 away fixtures on consecutive nights the week after could well be season defining

Scorpions v Sheffield 29 June KOC 7.30
Tosh1218 replied to ScunnyDan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
So pleased that the Scorpions went through, hopefully the next round we will be able to track all of our seven riders for a change instead of been our injured . The young yankee looks a good prospect for Sheffield and one last thing it’s a pity the Tigers going on about there choice of guest Richie hasn’t been in the best of form lately so I was surprised by there choice of guest rider so who does pick the guest is it Team Manager (Simon Stead) or the promoter ( Damian Bates ) ????? -
Sheffield v Scunthorpe SGBC KOC 28/06/18 @ 19.30
Tosh1218 replied to Blackadder's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Amazing how Scunthorpe are been hit with the bad luck with crashes , injuries and bike failures . Early on all was well then Jason’s crash hope it’s not as bad as first feared , the lads dug in and we’re doing well Dimitri Berge was a very good guest and scored well , Jake Allen was holding the two tigers off for 3 1/2 laps then bike problems and a 4 pt swing. One last point one a club states it’s got a 10 pm curfew why racing continued after this time was it due to the Scorpions been depleted who knows . As for the 2nd leg I think Sheffield have enough points in the bag , hers hoping for an injury free night for both sides
