Surely the all conquering Poole Pirates hit 70 pts like some predicted , all 3 of there heat leaders must have got maximums as expected . The opposition had a 6 pt guest riding at number 1 , a guest reserve and rider replacement for there 2nd heat leader . Oh how Poole fans think there going to waltz this league , we’ll take it from me once they have to use all 7 riders from Friday they will find it tougher as there guest riders for there lower end riders have been very good . Really hope the Pirates septet fail in the conclusion to the season

Can anyone explain how at the beginning of the season when booking pre ordered tickets for Scunthorpe Scorpions through the BSPA ‘s official ticket supplier Seatedly they had a 3% handling fee of 45pence on an OAP ticket so 45 pence was added to the order . For last weeks match v Redcar at home the same ticket had a handling fee of £1.70 so approx 11% handling fee is now been added . Surely the BSPA agreed a deal with the ticket supplier for the full season and there for the ticket supplier is breaching there contract with the BSPA , would like to know if this is been replicated over the 3 leagues and if there has been a press release as they have changed there Terms and Conduct. . I go to away meetings and possibly over think my journey and I get to near the location of the track at least 90 mins before the first race and then get a snack or coffee etc , I’ve traveled up and down the country with work and for example it states 3 hrs to destination doesn’t mean it will be 3 hrs give yourself time and add more time onto your journey it’s better to be in the stadium early rather than miss some races . Don’t blame Scunthorpe speedway for you not been at your destination on time

Interesting meeting tonight with our northern friends ,Scorpions using R/R for Tero Aarnio who is on Finnish duties .So can someone explain who can get the rides as it’s usually one above and anyone below and our top 3 are Adam Ellis. 7.92 Tommy Jørgensen 6.90 & Tero Aarnio 6.90 identical averages so what happens there is it every one can have a ride or Ellis misses out on a ride ??

All I keep hearing is there is no money in speedway now etc , I beg to differ why would Steve Worrall drive from his Cleethorpes home for a home meeting in Poole which is approx 280 miles away and a minimum of a 6 hour drive one way ?????

Poole fans you best get use to this as it’s a fact Stadia uk don’t want speedway at the stadium and they will make a bigger profit margin by the stadium been re developed to something else ie housing . It’s a modern scourge to get speedway out of prime locations for profit
