  1. Was first offered a ticket to the next home meeting replied ,sorry unacceptable as I was in Oxford for that day only . Then two more offers one to the restaging of the fixture or any Oxford home meeting .Again I refused as I’m based 188 miles away in Hull eventually I got a refund 21 days later
  2. Two years on the bounce it’s happened for Scunthorpe at Oxford and again away fans will have to fight to get there money back rather than a complimentary ticket for the next meeting . Also agree with the other post looks like Oxford wanted it off ?? when are Heeps and Jenkins expected back on track
  3. Hoping the Scorpions can keep it tight tonight ,Oxford have been hit by injuries but have a good guest in Thompson . As for Scunny Tofty is back and also Luke Harrison didn’t score in the league fixture is vastly improved as the season goes on . let’s see good racing and both sides return injury free
  4. Is there a live stream of this on Oxfords site ??
  5. There is a popular rumour going round that two teams from the top league are wanting to go into the Championship next season and two teams will be promoted from the championship upto the top league as they require a minimum of 6 sides in the top league . Could this be Poole ???
  6. Check his previous visits , it’s a fact the Eddie wright raceway isn’t one of Sam’s favourites
  7. Why does a rider of Sam Masters struggle at Scunny is beyond me
  8. Poole will be a big fish in a small pond and stay in the championship FACT
  9. Hope your flat white tasted better than defeat last night
  10. He looked poor to be fair but so did a few more in the Plymouth side
  11. You could tell by the way Ceiliana rode at Scunthorpe on Friday that she had been told that she was getting released , the publicity she got earlier in the season helped Workington crowds but now she had to be in the side on merit sadly she wasn’t upto her average so time for a change
  12. Everyone on he having a dig at Lambo’s form this season ? ,a fact which might bear interest is he has suffered with pneumonia recently and that has affected his form
  13. Is this match been streamed on Wednesday as it’s too far to travel midweek
  14. Was at the meeting and to be far I thought the incident with Harrison and Fredrickson was good hard racing and the monarch overreacted after the chequered flag . The Monarchs deserved the bonus point and Josh Pickering is always a superb visitor and a class act on and off the track
  15. I would have taken that points defeat before the meeting as The Comets were significantly stronger with Jake Mulford replacing Ceilina
  16. Do Workington do a live stream for today’s fixture
  17. 6 teams racing Friday so not a lot of choice of guests hope we have some for Workington on Saturday
  18. Why “pot” has been added to my title is rather a stupid comment in the circumstances??? but back to last night and a couple of facts for you , the track doctor administered a pain relief while Rory was on track in agony so they had to stay with him at track side & the pits until NHS medics arrived and took over . Also the incident was originally an emergency response by the local NHS trust but once the track medics had made Rory comfortable at the pits this was downgraded by the NHS to not critical so hence the delay as it was downgraded and we at track side waited for the local ambulance to arrive which did and I presume Rory was taken to the biggest hospital locally Hull Royal over the Humber Bridge . Im sure people attending like myself were put out a little bit but Rory ‘s health and treatment is more important at times like this . Hope Rory has a full & speedy recovery
  19. What a complete fool you are , speedway riders get inured daily on speedway tracks all over Europe .its the nature of the sport when 4 riders and machines come into contact during official meetings or practice for racing . The bikes now are faster then previous years, they race on a track with shale on it with usually 4 riders coming into the first bend with a limited space for the machines so there is always going to be crashes and injuries . I’ve watched racing at over 40 tracks in Britain over the years and the chances of serious injuries occurs at all of them .Your digs are always aimed at Scunthorpe or there promotion and is getting tedious I would like to wish Rory all the best in his recovery and hope to see him on a track soon as he has been a brilliant servant to British speedway and first watched him as a 16 year old at Sheffield.
  20. Don’t watch it then ? ,everyone knows you hate Scunthorpe with a passion and always breed negativity against the track , its promoter on the forum
