Has anyone asked mr godfrey when we can rerun it? Got to feel for laura and team more payouts for travel , stadium and everthing else that goes with a speedway night out , any buissness people out there want to help or even a group of fans , did alan get there on time after his c_c ride ?

I know the track was bad but back in the day riders had more throttle control tracks were rougher with lots more dirt on them , i remember first time i went to berwick in1972 was like a ploughed field bikes bouncing everywhere but they got on with it .riders today should know throttle works both ways.

Have switched off surely they could have got some water from the building site next door, dust and havinv to watch and listen to rosco not a good advert for the sport!

Reading the "star" today 2 stories jump out at me , mr woffy going on about british speedway is a monday night sport and how well poland and sweden do on fixed nights then in the next breath saying he is on stirke in sweden because he isnt getting paid! Then we have mr god( i want this sport to run the way i want or i aint playing)frey refusing to ride at newcastle at 12 on sunday despite being at berwick the night before, we need someone with balls to lead this sport to stop stupid decisions like this before there is nothing left .

It goes against the sprit of the rules would all the mouth pieces from glasgow not say the same had he gone back to edinburgh,comets are told u cant ride friday nights because other teams cant get guests and then another team comes along sign a rider and say we will need a guest just 3 times on our friday race night.our sport is so simple 4 riders turn left at the end of the straight but the rules kill it.

If this is allowed to happen against the rule book the joke sport has seen the last of me after 50 yrs,this proves money talks shame on glasgow and shame on cook and i say that as a comet fan through and through.

Win loose or draw a speedway fan should allways turn up.week after week, i cant because of work but would never not go to derwent park when off work remember 1980 when we only won 2 matches its still your team support through thick and thin!

Have thought all along its all down to mr godfrey just wish someone had the balls to stand up to him and to force the other teams to come when we have use of derwent park.
