Just past derwent park lots of vans in the pits !

have to be honest the racing at brough isnt the best u can see but it does need skill to ride it esp turns 1 and 2 where riders can drift out to the fence on exit, i remember going to berwick for the first time in 1972 and watching riders bounce all over the place on a right rough black shale track, the home boys rode it slighty better than us helped very much by the best green light starts i have ever seen.

Point taking rider power wins the day i know am old school but remember the good old days of trailors and bikes on car racks and riders with day jobs !

I can understand paying for flights for riders but van hire shoudnt be down to laura !

It shows the difference an extra 250 people can make surely there must be more out there to come along each week.if the new stadium gets built be nice to use derwent week for £s a week like town pay !

It was tried at derwent park didnt last long, i remember going to silloth airfield to watch the stocks in the 70s seemed to be thousands there !

They done the same at derwentpark i remember when lou missed 1974 when he came back he took a while to adjust to the new corners which had been moved out !

The man in charge is his own man he answers to no one so helping some other promoter aint going to happen i did allways think he would step in rather than see it close wrong again.

Have said many times i drive a coach and am allways going on about my " comets" if only half the people who say i used to go turned up one night u wouldnt get them in derwent park , there will be alot more than the dirhards who are going to miss the action
