  1. From what i have seen after just a couple of weeks the tracks look mostly the same size and shape, very little dirt on them alot of gate and go, and being honest i have being bored after a few races and this from a fanatic for the last 50 yrs.
  2. As long as they have a banner with BLM no one will bother them !
  3. do i miss speedway?what is their to miss?walking to derwent park with my sons and grandkids, saying hi to people who are their early like us,standing by the pits chatting to dez the machine examiner who i went to school with and who rode for the comets ,standing listening to the roar of 14 bikes getting that special smell only they make laughing at others putting their hands over ears as they walk past, walking to our special spot on the first corner near the burger van standing with people who like us have stood their for years, being pestered by the grandkids for some money for a burger which they will never eat because they had tea before coming out, clapping and shouting as 2 teams are announced by michael max or hoggy with the tones of john walch in the box, shouting at a well know referee from scotland who once again had got a decision wrong, going home after a look at the track from the pits gate saying hi to chris the pits marshall, telling my mother how well we did or why we didnt win, taking boys home and looking on the pc how other teams had done that night, going on the forum to see what other comets fans thought about the team that night.YES i do miss my speedway seeing it live from 3rd april 1970 missing work sometimes to get my fix, remembering the girls i took their some still speak to me now a couple dont but their loss eh ,so again i do miss my speedway its good to go to glasgow, newcastle, redcar. and even edinburgh but its not the same,so if u can go when this is all over DO go or like me and a few more from comets land u might not have some to go back too.HAPPY DAYS.

  5. Usual stuffing at the dale for the comets with mr hunter talking b****** at ht 13 still good on edinburgh to keep us entertained on these fri nights .
  6. it says from £9.99 amonth click on the link and it goes up to £11.99 a month and looks to pay through your sky account, look at the trouble people have had trying to cancel the sky packages i aint going to trust it will do without my fix .
  7. Is their anyway it can be watched free??
  8. Dont think it will make good viewing for comets fans even without the chuckle brothers !
  9. the more u watch it the worse it looks for the ref, snedden falls on his own in ht 2 rerun ,ht 6 cook clearly knock of morris and as for ht 13 masters falls on his own first time rerun morris and master collide 50/50 call but cook comes off on his own then stars fighting with summers who never touched him and is allowed back in, years later history was to repeat its self!
  10. Might have been better to win on the track rather than from the ref's box.anyone remember who the ref was that night ?
  11. If ever u see him and he asks would u like a bottle of coke , run!
  12. Their is lots to like about edinburgh i went 3 times last season when work aĺlowed, i admire the way and work of the promotion to keep the track open all these years with a little help from our promotion a few years ago, but watching the race nights from various tracks and edinburgh not the only one people pop up and go on and on and on my choice i dont dont like it, but am gratefull to watch the racing.last week i even kept the sound on for mr hunter last week.
