Why do hundreds if not thousands ride moto x at weekends for fun yet speedway riders want a fortune to ride? Everyone who puts a leg over a bike deserves as much as possible yes ,but income has to be more than outgoings.go back to basics then maybe bikes will cost less,u dont need a van full,standard carbs and clutch a bit of dirt on the track and lets see racing .

Went to several meeting never once saw him in the pits trying to gee up the team,and at last meeting was cooking burgers total p take .

It didnt help,dont think the track had been looked at from previous meeting local farmer and comets fan turned up with "water" and cow s*** and covered the track and some fans on back straight then left.

If u read " ian thomas" book he says about 1984 wasnt easy knowing each monday u were going to lose a £ 1000 that day,paid all the debts though even lost his house over it

Which came first, berwick contract or grass track contract????

Have watched him ride since a junior,can count on one hand the number of times i saw him pass someone after the first lap,simple clueless question would u have been happy had another rider done the same to him?Right of shopping now can u tell me where i can buy a pair of those rose tinted classes u wear?

It really is simple ,its not a full time job but a good hobby that pays ,cut the wages snd take or leave,only prople who make money are stadium owners and tuners back to basics sure would work .

Not sure about the "clueless" part but as excuses goes it wasnt my fault gunvnor,just a shame the ref felt otherwise!

In todays " star" says the team get together for a meal before home meetings except R lawson he too good to attend

Riders dont help wearing helmets on parade,not coming round on a victory lap,and why oh why do we need to refuel after a false start.
