  1. Those posts bring back memories when I lived in Bedfordshire and took my children to see the Knights as they were known - maybe they still are!!
  2. Just an update, Tim (born in 1938) is alive and kicking in the New Forest and having moved on from sailing in his home built 41' yacht to the Caribean can currently be found in his workshop restoring Norton 850 Commando's, 150 Tridents, a solitary CB750 Four and riding a modern Royal Enfield.
  3. Yes, he ran it successfully for about 18 years until he sold it to, I think two brothers who still run it as Deardens. Two other ex Poole speedway riders living in this area are Bernie Leigh and Tim Bungay. Bernie had a Honda dealership in Totton and Tim has recently restored a couple of Norton Commandos, two Trident 150's, one CB 750 and is currently restoring a third Commando, and regularly rides a tweaked Enfield very briskly!!!
