I enjoyed the meeting I don't think many will do as well as Scott Nicholls in Heat 13.Emil and Jason won't lose many.I think Scott Nicholls showed his class and nerve as he's supposed to be winding down his career at 46.Overall a good close contest.
I agree with Buttons 89.I enjoyed heat 15 and appreciate Cameron s all out efforts.Buttons has the view on things as me i.e. better racing when all four of them are high calibre with strung out racing when there is disparity between the rider's abilities
I enjoyed both the Sheffield meeting and Workington .I think the track has improved the last month or so.There are less falls on the second bend.I think having stronger opposition makes the racing better to watch. The witches are still coming out on top but it's not one sided
I can confirm the meeting of Ipswich v Workington was very good with much passing.Earlier in the season the racing was not good with a lot of falls from the away sides.I think they have made changes to the track material and reduced the clay content.I hope the rest of the season is more entertaining like the Workington meeting.
I believe the shale gets moved onto the car track by stock cars using inside lines. It then gets transferred into a road sweeper lorry and is desposed off.So as the season goes on there less material on the track.I hope they can improve things as nearly every heat had a rider dismount.I saw Ipswich at Scunthorpe where we were entertained with passing on the fourth bend on the final lap.The racing has been like a procession at fox hall
