yet in football its the age thing in reverse, us oldies want to stand like the good old days and my sons moan about it, last year paid over £50 a ticket for a seat, and stood most of the games, this year paid £30 at cardiff end row and was up & down all night as people wanted to go for a drink or whatever, you just can't win

brilliant sky just said they are getting lots of complants about ole olsen and the tracks being so slick, so maybe if we keep it up, somebody might , might just take notice

July 10th had to be, June 10th till July 11th world cup, with the final on the 11th there be nothing on the 10th except third fourth play off, nobody watches that, they may even have a time curfew in South Africa and have to cancel it......so the best date all round, unless your planning a trip out to SA

you may be right about the expence, but then were not going next year as were now bored with it but come the weekend we may make the effort, it's just the first time since cardiff started we haven't bought tickets in advance

I think the present sgp 11 round series is ok, but needs some qualifiier before, scrap the practise, have one or two semi finals before, make the whole weekend a sgp event, keep the top eight through to the next gp, the qualifier or two semi can have the old 16 rider 20 heat format with the top eight going trough to the sgp or two semi, whatever, that way we won’t see the same old 16 riders, because there always an upset, shock exit or shock qualifier, then the main event will be more exciting as we will also be looking not at who’s going to win, but who’s staying in the top eight the next gp and who’s going to have to re qualify also give more riders a chance to break into the sgp exclusive club, don’r seed the world champion either, let him qualifer if he has to…..the present format is boring with the same old same old……

we are the londerners, well now move out to buy cheaper housing, 12 of us go every year and have done since Hackney, but sadley only go to about six meetings a year, would never miss cardiff, always make a long weekend of it, never buy a prog, not realley sure who rides for who now as speedway riders ride for anybody, guests and other countries, but still think it is great, the weather cannot spoil this fixture, one thing if you took all the polish fans away from last nights gate and people like myself yes it would be intresting to see how many real week in week out fans go.... strange two meetiings Somerset and Cardiff both made exciting and controvercial by the ref.....

our tickets arrived Royal mail special delivery 7.30 this morning, when i worked for Royal mail there was no special delivery on saturday,but some offices if private addreses just try and deliver them to get them out of the way as more private addreses will be in to sign for them saturday morning, rather than Monday ... so if no luck today, they should arrive Monday......

because it a forum and the Brits are losiing and where not allowed to have a go at any one............after all it's not a free country any more

The BEST yet!.....ok maybe because a Brit won, in previous years the crowd tend to lose a bit of noise and interest as the Brits go out, the crowd looked to me bigger than any other year, but then I never seen so many Poles in the crowd, maybe they were in Britain anyway, but it still helped the attendance, watched Sky this morning and it also looked good on TV……..for me and I’ve been to them all The Best Yet! Wembley: the F.A will let any thing go ahead at Wembley, if you got the money:.speedway just couldn’t afford F.A prices, but for me keep it at Cardiff, that roof is priceless, how many would have bought tickets in advance, made the effort to get to Cardiff knowing the weekend of weather we were going to have…….
