  1. I will be gutted if Josh goes anywhere other than Edinburgh and a Premier club. Always superb to watch and never stops trying. Lovely guy too
  2. So, tonight it is..... Good Luck to our boys, this is speedway where anything can happen and often does. Our team did well to get us here and I hope we give a good show..... c’mon the Monarchs
  3. I watched his crash on tv and commented about the angle of his leg as he landed. Nice lad with obvious potential once he gets his knee fixed. The plan is a mixture of rest and physio - good luck lad. I just hope he is not doing more damage continuing to ride
  4. Would’ve made perfect sense when Pirates were up here anyway and a weekend trip for the fans
  5. No meetings left for us We had but we came up against better/ hungrier teams when it mattered
  6. I’m glad that’s over. 3 freezing meetings with nothing to get excited about. Thanks to the team for getting us there but the wheels came off just when it mattered Congratulations to the Pirates. I can’t see anything but the silverware belonging to Poole on Wednesday ....... but ........ you never say never in Speedway Also congratulations To Mildenhall on wrapping up the National Development League Championship this afternoon too
  7. I think the fat lady has sung her song and thrown in an encore this time Paulco
  8. Well that was embarrassing ....... well done Glasgow. Cookie was majestic, especially that overtake in ht 15
  9. Does anyone know if tickets are going on sale for tonight please. Sorry if the question has been asked previously
  10. Congratulations to Tai (get well soon lad), Robert, Dan & Tom also Oliver & Simon .... superb effort from Team GB (including mechanics) I was one of the Dan fans pre match and am very happy he got his chance
  11. Have a good one Rory. I was attending your meeting but sadly had to change my plans last week. We did a collection amongst the Emmerdales and friends and I hope you like the card that Len had made. You and your Mum & Dad will always have a special place in our hearts. From the day you arrived in Scotland looking 12 years old, we knew you were the real deal. Thanks for the Championships, Scottish Opens and A’Ra’Best in your retirement. Love to Lynette and Lyndon too x
  12. First priority, best wishes to James for a speedy recover. Very painful injuries NOW...... we DID try to get a second ambulance for last night funded by the fans trust but there were none available
  13. Not as bad as the twice our fans (Edinburgh) were in Leicester sitting in the sunshine when both meetings had been “rained off” because the footy was on. They weren’t happy either
  14. Nothing beats being trackside but I applaud all the tracks providing streaming. It is definitely warmer on the sofa but we enjoyed our trip to Redcar yesterday (as usual). My wee dog loved it too
  15. From what I heard, he he injured the tip of his pinkie and index finger and has no idea how that could’ve happened as the two fingers between are fine. It is very sore but he has been doing exercises and hoping to be back ASAP, maybe even tonight - made of tough stuff these speedway riders. Best wishes to Michael and hope he makes the right decision as I suspect tonight is too soon
  16. I would hate to be a camera person trying to film wee Joshie, it’s hard enough watching him in real time
